Princess Paula of Brazil moved?

Hi! Why did you move Princess Paula of Brazil to Princess Paula Mariana of Brazil? Historians call her simply as "Paula". Since there was no other Paula before or after her in the House of Braganza, I don't belive there would be confusion over two similar names. So, any special reason for the move? Anyone interested in the Latin American Empires?

Hi! Is there a wiki taskforce focusing on the Latin American Empires (Brazil and Mexico)? Who are the most active editors in royalty/empires' articles? Regards, --Lecen (talk) 00:17, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

I really have no ideas. Sorry.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 06:42, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Ok, then. Thank you very much! --Lecen (talk) 11:45, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Iturbide royals

Are you talking about Maximilian's chose heirs? Unfortunately, I have no book about them. However, I do plan to work on Maximilian's article. I want to finish first Maria Amélia's article (his deceased fiancée). What really bothers me is the lack of good quality painting and photographies of him. I tried to look at google but they are often cropped versions or have an awful quality.

I also want to write Pedro I of Brazil and Isabel, Princess Imperial of Brazil and link the Empire of Brazil to the Second Mexican Empire. It will take time, though. Regards, --Lecen (talk) 16:46, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

I don't have any interest on them since they had no impact in history. In fact, I find very difficult to find good books about the period. The majority are very similar to each other, always telling the same story, with no different approach. Regards, --Lecen (talk) 18:37, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Marriages of the British monarchy

In Marriages of the British monarchy, the lists ommited all kings of England prior to 1066 and all kings of Scotland prior to 1124. I added the rest of them. Could you take a look and check for improvements? I was not sure what to do with Edward Balliol, de facto monarch between 1332 and 1336. Dimadick (talk) 13:22, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Peter V of Portugal

Haven't you seen how they treated me there? Because of a simple move request some editors believed that it was somekind of war against the Anglo-Saxon culture or something like that. Mockery and rudeness was all I could get. The main issue persists: it's ridiculous to write an article where everyone has a Portuguese name (Maria I, Pedro I, Miguel I, José Bonifácio, etc...) with the sole exception of... "John" VI, this oddly English-named Portuguese monarchy. I was seriously considering working on João VI (read like "Joan", how hard could it be to pronounce it?!!) but after that, I gave up. I got 7 votes in favor of and 8 votes that opposed. They simply weren't capable of having a civilized discussion. Kind regards, --Lecen (talk) 03:26, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

You can count on me. Just warn me once you do it. --Lecen (talk) 03:31, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps wyou should upload this picture. You could request at Wikipedia:Graphic Lab/Photography workshop to have the watermark removed. --Lecen (talk) 01:58, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
It would be good to see your thoughts in here: Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (use English)#An exception to the rule?. --Lecen (talk) 21:56, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Princess Maria Amélia of Brazil

Hi, Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy. The article about Princess Maria Amélia of Brazil (Maximilian of Mexico's deceased fiancée) is now open. Since you made a few edits there, I thought you would be interested on reviewing the article and placing your support or oppose. The article's nomination page is here. Edit summaries, multiple consecutive edits

Hello Thomas, and thanks for your many contributions. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you.

Another note on editing: It will also be easier for you and your co-editors to collaborate on articles if, instead of making multiple consecutive edits in rapid succession on an article, you use the "Show preview" button to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits.
