Disambiguation link notification for December 7 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Antonio Gil Y'Barbo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Natchitoches (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Tremendous work so far on Antonio Gil Y'Barbo. Your work points out the dilemmas he faced in trying to protect his people while not disobeying Spanish colonial law too much. Bigturtle (talk) 23:20, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hi Tejano, in answer to your question I am a visitor who had wanted to see East Texas, and when I was in the plaza of Nacogdoches last February it was clear that the community had a very important "founding father" that the rest of the world did not know about. That was how the article got started. As you have pointed out, although Antonio Gil Y'Barbo was a patriotic citizen of Spanish Texas he was also, in many ways, a transitional figure towards the future. Someday he may have a stature in East Texas that will be similar to the place of Juan de Oñate in the history of New Mexico. If he does, your work in editing and rewriting this article will have played a role in this outcome! Bigturtle (talk) 16:44, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Larissa College in Larissa, Texas edit

Hello. Thank you for creating Larissa, Texas. Would you please consider creating a standalone page for Larissa College? I am working on C.C. Slaughter [1], who attended that college. There is also Charles Henderson Yoakum. There must be many more. I think it would be very useful. Not sure if we could find an old picture in some archives as well? Let me know if you are interested. Please reply on my talkpage. Thank you.Zigzig20s (talk) 03:29, 24 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
