Thats perfect!!! Thats exactly how I would love every article on a Bollywood film to look -to have no red links and every one up to a mininum standard. That article looks as clean as a freshly bathed baby in talcum powder (LOL). I'm very pleased with the Indian cinema group over the last few days -I'm glad other users are using the incentive to develop the Telugu films also which I am helping guide them with -hopefully tamil will be cleaned up too.

As for myself I've been extremely busy -sorry I haven;t really spoken to you. I;ve been creating various templates such as Template:Tibetan Buddhism, Template:BanteayMeancheyProvince, Template:BattambangProvince, Template:Townships of Yangon, Template:Townships of Mandalay etc and starting the articles -sorting out Cambodia mostly which geographically on wikipedia is one of the poorest developed countries on wikipedia I 'v ever seen -wow what a great article Pursat is!! I've hardly touched a film article this year so far!! but I will soon enough. I've been speaking to wikipedia's founder Jimbo Wales about the problems with uneven coverage on this site and what my plans and actions are to address this in various areas. I feel it is very important to address uneven coverage -to look at the world from a birdseye (Captain Birdseye lol) perspective and try to cover the world in an evne manner rather than based on where we are -this is one of the reasons why I am so keen to develop Indian cinema -I know how huge an industry it is in India and in Indian communities around the world and this needs to be reflected in the english speaking world!! I don;t know if you notice but every day in a DYK there is a new article or whatever on some tiny building or unnotable person in America and major cities in parts of the world still one line stubs!! I don't know what Jimbo Wales really thinks of me but I hope he agrees with my goals.

The encyclopedia looks brilliant and extremely resourceful in places but extrenely poor and underdeveloped in others- I'd like to build a group of people ideally to fix this -quality will improve-but it will take time!!.

Anyway I had some great DVDs for Christmas - I got hold of a copy of The Big Trail from 1930 . I;ve seen it before but so much better on DVD!! Hope you are having a great new year amigo. Hopefully John Carter will help get Zinta to where it deserves. All the best! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:55, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ya its difficult to find a DYK sometimes. I didn;t even propose the deforestation article for a DYK because it was too obvious, . Anyway I uploaded an image to drool over Image:Farebsisters.jpg Sexy Shilpa (no Johnny -hey Heerrree's Johnnny? (in my best Jack Nicholson The Shining voice). lol. Oh plus an aunt of mine bought me ANOTHER French dictionary -I now have about 8 of the frickin things. Saludos. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:10, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nargis edit

Hello Shahid,

The late Nargis Dutt's biography at IMDB does state about her Mohyal father:

Typo on Krantiveer edit

Was not sure where I could put this across. So, here it is: I'm not sure if you checked any dictionary but, authored is spelled as "authored" without a double R. Even the in-built dictionary while editing in wikipedia say on Firefox browsers will show authorred as an error. Hope I could clarify on this. With best regards, Mspraveen (talk) 16:20, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ha ha ha my bad. Thanks for the help friend! Regards, ShahidTalk2me 16:32, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
You are welcome! And, good to see your user page. Some interesting work you've done! [:)] Maybe, we might have a chance to collaborate at some point of time ahead. Regards, Mspraveen (talk) 16:43, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much! Looking forward to working with you friend. You have also done some great work! Talk to me, :) regards, ShahidTalk2me 16:55, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hi Shahid! I've a quick question. I've never done a DYK submission before. I wanted to submit a DYK about a Telugu actor for having done more than 750 films which earned him a Guinness World Record (GWR). I was not sure if facts from GWR could be submitted as entries. Any ideas? Regards, Mspraveen (talk) 15:26, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Zinta draft edit

Well, the possible copyedit of Preity Zinta is now done at User:Warlordjohncarter/Preity Zinta. There are still a few questions in my eyes regarding the phrasing in the original, but it might be a good idea to review the existing changes before discussing anything else. John Carter (talk) 18:57, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

P.S.: Let me know when you've completed your review. I figure we can nominate it for GA almost immediately thereafter. John Carter (talk) 23:38, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
We should probably follow procedure and list it on the page as a GA nominee. Having said that, if we were to specifically contact a given GA reviewer and ask for their opinion personally, I doubt very seriously anyone could question that. If you know any GA reviewers, please feel free to contact them. Otherwise, I'll probably try to find one when I'm through adjusting the Africa project banner. John Carter (talk) 14:31, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've left a message with User:Cirt to try to review the article. I'm not sure when you'll be done with any revisions, but we might get a response shortly. John Carter (talk) 19:27, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Box Office edit

Hey Shahid, there is good news and bad news. First the good news: Box Office India has completely changed their site. The site is fully updated with most of the recent results. However, the bad news is that all of the links that were used in all the Bollywood articles are useless now. Now, all the links have changed and none are the same. Another bad news is that you know the filmography for each actor/actress is not finished yet. They only have this so far Actresses' Filmographies. However, this will be updated soon just like the rest of the page and we will be able to have the most recent info. OMG, a lot of hard work!!! I'll do some each day but I am currently busy with University. If you could help me out with it, I would greatly appreciate it. Regards --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 21:50, 8 January 2008

LOL, Yeah I know. You told me something about that. The price is based on how well your films do so it is bound to fluctuate. Anyways there is no rush to change all the refs. We can do it slowly. Even I am currently busy with University but I am some time right now that's why I decided to change them. I have already updated the ones on Preity Zinta's and Kareena Kapoor's. I am currently working on Rani Mukerji's one. Don't worry, take your time. That's what I am doing. =) All the best. LOL. Regards --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 22:25, 8 January 2008
When you have time, take a look at Kambakth Ishq. The film is getting hotter and bigger every day!! --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 22:51, 8 January 2008

Shahid, I just noticed that Preity's article was nominated for a GA. All the best!! =) --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 18:10, 11 January 2008
LOL, I am doing well. I finished my class early today, that's why I had time to come on Wikipedia. BTW, MNIAG doesn't appeal to me as well too but I want to watch Halla Bol because of Vidya Balan. I know that she has a small role in the film but it looks kind of interesting. LOL. --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 18:20, 11 January 2008

Shahid, I noticed that you added the Star Screen Award Special Jury Award to the Star Screen Awards, and indicated that Darsheel Safary won that award. However, no article I've read indicates that. I only read that he won the Star Screen Award Best Child Artist. If you could provide me the link indicating that he won the award, I would greatly appreciate it. BTW, you're on an editing spree these days. LOL. Oh, another thing I forgot to mention was that I wanted to create an article on Darsheel Safary but when I clicked on the link, a page comes up saying "This page is currently protected, and can be edited only by administrators." What's wrong? --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 21:33, 13 January 2008

Well, I think we can wait until the awards are telecasted to await official confirmation. Out of all the articles I read on the Star Screen Award winners, I never read that Mr. Bachchan won that award. Only the one that you showed me indicated that. The best thing to do is to just wait until Jan 27 to see if Mr. Bachchan won the award or not. --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 16:08, 14 January 2008

Flickr image block edit

Hi Mr Shahid. Can you do a test for me and see if you can save any image from flickr into your pictures. I've managed to negotiate with somebody on flickr to upload many images on cambodia and laos and when I save them they are coming out as blanks. It looks like flickr as programmed some kind of protection on their images to prevent anybody lifting them from the site using "spaceball". Could you see if this happens to you also. Thanks ♦ Dr. Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:11, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Its OK with you? Thats odd -they are coming out as blanks on my computer -usually as you know I have no dfficiultly at all in saving images but flickr seems to be behaving rather oddly. Can you do me a favour then for now. Can you save and upload the Kirimom Park as GFDL and I;ll add the author etc -attribute it to mi amigo nuevo Arie from flickr ! Thanks mate ♦ Dr. Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:31, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm trying to think what the best way to attribute it would be. He said he would be honoured to freely let wikipedia use the images ♦ Dr. Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:37, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes other images on flickr seem to be fine!!! Thats weird. I;ve told him his images seem to have a lock on them -just waiting for his response/ . Thanks for your help anyway. Howz things? John informed me he has had a go at copy editing. All good? I spent many hours yesterday cleaning up somebodies frickin mess with the List of museums in the United States which they were splitting as a directory and usingf a ridiculous map for navigation -a total mess -I created Template:Museums in the US and gradually formatting the pages like List of museums in California with nice tables and info eventually. Not normally my sort of thing -too many museums I find geeky and boring but some can be very interesting if you are in the mood. I added images to liven them up!! I can't believe how lazy some other users are -they weren't even willing to help fill in any info and have done bugger all to help me but were willing to mess up! Of all the 250 million Americans it was left to me to clean up! (anyway enough of my whining lol) Best regards ♦ Dr. Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:41, 9 January 2008 (UTC).Reply

Good to see it is up for GA again. A rather tedious prvoess don't you think. This time it should stay there whether Severus Snape turns up or not. Soon enough it should ascend the rungs to that lovely FA forum again. Looking forward to it? ♦ Dr. Blofeld ♦ Talk? 19:05, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wow people on flickr seem to glad to help me - several people have given me permission to use their bank of images like Bollywood blog did. Mike Russia at Flickr has permitted me to use all of them. See Sagaing now -with an infobox and map too!. What I might do is look into areas in the project which are unphotographed and see if I can request the use of the "copywrighted" flickr images to cover all areas!!! One of the main things which keeps me in this project is images. I'm certain flickr would have some Bollywood images which people will permit if you kindly ask them -just send thema flickr mail ♦ Dr. Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:15, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

OMG. Check out the two images on the right of the page for Amarapura -I get so excited by cultural images of places I've never seen!! Amazing those photos were only taken two days ago ♦ Dr. Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:33, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello are you here today? I'm having a quiet day today just browsing. Howz things? I see that person refused to review the article -does he know actually that the article has been waiting since October ?? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:21, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thats good, I don't know what planet some of the editors are on, but if you read the Zinta article in the context of the encyclopedia -e.g one random page into another then it is more than adequate and such a clear A class article compared to many on here. I always knew it would reach an FA eventually (although I thought this would have been months ago not still continuing to puruse it today!) Yes today I'm feeling lazy unlike the last week on here!! (I;m currently eating rock choclate chips cookies and drinking a capuccino ) -I must admit that while I am very impressed with User:Ekyaw's enthusiasm for new articles I'm getting a little frustrated with him that he isn't creating them correctly -e.g faulty links, missing infoboxes, wrong spelling, mistakes etc and I'm having to chase him around. Worse still I have spent a lot of time trying to help guide him only for him to ignore me and continue creating new stubs!!! Do you know if Bollywood Dreamz has a GA up his sleeve at all? It would be great to get all of the Bollywood A-listers up to at least a GA ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:04, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

He's from Burma and understands english very well but not fluent. He initially started sending me many emails and tons of messages but now when I'm trying to help him get things right he just doesn't respond much. Yesterday he was starting to create them perfectly and I praised him for this but then all of a sudden he started creating empty pages (which I had to save from being speedy deleted again) and stubs without any locators and incorrect links. I've now got another fifty or so articles to correct and cleanup. Overall he's doing great and it is very valubale to have somebody from Burma on here -just wish he could get it right first time and save a lot of effort later. LOLL! As I was just yping I got some froth from my coffee stuck up my nose - very much like Dr. Evil with his "Belgian dip" Starbucks in Auston Powers 2! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:18, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I tell you what have you noticed whenever a film seems to be critically acclaimed or one of the "hot" films of the year that it always seems to have Naomi Watts in it! She's got it going on that girl thats for sure. Almost like Leonardo with Scorsese and Tom Cruise or Tom Hanks with Spielberg a few years ago. now compare the quality of that article with Zinta's. Its still a start class!!! Check out this brilliant article Gurinder Singh ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:31, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Work of the highest quality huh? An exemplary article for wikipedia to be proud of. I wonder what makes people create such useless rubbish? If they care about the person enough to create you'd think they;d add something wouldn't ya lol! My teddy bear could have come up with something better than that. Did you see Zinta's new film ? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:24, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah yes I forgot you have an Indian cinema in Melbourne because of the large Indian Aussie community. Thats rather fortunate isn't it!! You seem them every week -thats awesome! I was talking about Om Shanti Om I didn't hear you comment much on it when it was released. Padukone is definately one of the hotties isn't she. Gorgeous woman ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:37, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I was going to comment and say the film posters look like those classic Bollywood film posters of the 1970s which I love but I see why - it is set in the 1970s!!!. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:41, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Contain yourself Shahid. Stop drooling lol!! Yes she is stunning -the first one in particular -I think Indian women look superb in green -it really suits their skin tone. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:47, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

OK my turn to drool now. Oooooohh yeah baby. Soooo! sexy! The green reminds me rather of a lime Opal Fruits remember (they were called that when I was growing up) I think they're called Starburst now. The green was always the best one lol. There is something incredibly sexy about a reclining Preity don't you think ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:06, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

And here in green with Rekha ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:16, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh I quite like it when they dress traditional -Bipasha too -when they are as attractive as they are they could wear a binbag and a crisp packet for a hat and still look good (lol). I saw that aimge back in September and thought how nice she looked -I also thought how much Amitabh looks like my late grandfather (the Jewish one) with that hat on -he looks old there doesn't he!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:46, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hahahah Shahid. Thou will not reach on FA. Zinta will be demoted to a stub class for life. Mmmoooohahaha! I use colgate toothpaste on my nashers everyday. Mmoohahah!

Thats great news for Indian cinema on wikipedia about BOI. It now actually looks like a website. I wonder what was the problem with them for all those months. No shouldn't be any problem now there is a valid infrastructure to the site, but then again who knows with evil wizards like Snape lurking in the shadows ready to eat your liver with some fartha beans and a nice Chianti Thththththth. He reminds me also of rather of a character named Flagg, an evil magician in the Stephen King novel The Eyes of the Dragon . WOwo wiki has an article on him Randall Flagg ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:45, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

He's watching over us every step of the way. I was just browsing unrelated topics and eventually came across Aztec mythology and who should I see but Mr Colgate himself. Mmmoooohahaha! Purely coincidence!! What? See the page Aztec mythology -don't you recognize him in the image on the left? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 22:45, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes!!!!! I've created maps for all of the places on User:Blofeld of SPECTRE/Missing locator maps. This means any article on most countries in the world can have an infobox and exact locator!! E.g see Baku, Sanaa, Aweil, Aného. And it works!!! This is major news for world places -now each place can have a map whatever the size!!! I;m so happy about this!! This will affect tens of thousands of geography articles eventually!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:18, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Its awesome news! Now each place like Baglung can have an infobox and map and this can be done for practically every country anywhere!!! It will make such a huge difference to visit an article on any geo location and have a map and an infobox by country. Hopefully we can get photos for every place too eventually!!! This opens up a lot of doors!! Out of anything I've ever done on wikipedia this has to be one of the things I'm happiest at achieving. Soon enough any geo article you read from any of those countries in that list will be affected by it! Aiiii! Hope you are well amigo!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:43, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thankyou amigo!! You're a great editor and guy too!!!! Mr Bigglesworth is happily smiling, grinning like a Cheshire cat. Meoww!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 19:00, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is such a happy day for me on here!! Another person on flickr has said he actually wants me to upload as many images of his as I can!!! lol -another world traveller who has over 11,000 world images at flickr. Check out the images in Battambang, Kaokoland and Himba (naked tribal women). This makes me so happy to be able to freely photograph the world like this!!! Sorry if I'm boring you with geography lol ! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 22:16, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Like that hot reclining Zinta in a green dress huh? Who knows perhaps Zinta may come across wikipedia herself one day if she hasn't already. How would that feel to you to know that she is reading your work! Saludos! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 22:38, 12 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

See what I mean lots of colour!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:57, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ja!! Wie heiВst du Shahid? Das ist sehr gut ja der doktor? Ich habe eine schwester und keine bruder. Ich wohne in Gross Britainien. Mein name ist Sven. Wo wohnst du? Yes that guy is so well travelled -images from many of the places I wanted to upload images from -so convenient. Between you and me though, in browsing his photos I think its safe to say he's gay. There are some dodgy Swedish and Dutch gay festival ones in there and too many pictures of young men lol!!! its quite worrying the amount of boys he has photographed, but it doesn't matter to me- I can just select the encyclopedic ones that we want!! LOL ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 15:48, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

LOL but honestly it is so obvious he bats for the other team. When looking for scenic images of places you;ve got to kind of block out all the ones of the men he taken -its quite disturbing!! lol.Haaa! Heeee! He's (Charles Fred) is uploading new images as we speak see what I mean A frickin mickey mouse t-shirt with a waistcoat lol!!!. Scary isn't it. I guess I've just got to ignore those scary pictures and upload the decent ones!! I agree it great I can upload all the encyclopedic ones -I'm extremely grateful for this. Free images really benefit this encyclopedia.

Yep I noticed that user account when you said. We don't know though -it could be absolutely anybody but wikipedia is such a huge global website -one of the worlds central sites that it is certainly a possibility. Wasn't the birth date a year out though it says 1985 birth but article 1986. Very attractive lady don't you think and young! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:17, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just kidding -that company must be doing pretty well to sell cars at that price don't you think!!. On a more serious note, do you know if anybody has taken it upon themsevles to review Zinta yet? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:26, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thats OK -I admire your patience with it. Yes I have a rather crude sense of humour but thats comes with being left handed - apparently only 7% of the world population are left handed I think. Left handed people are extremely creative, and are supposed to be natural born comedians. As for star signs Taurus (astrology) are supposed to be -well see the page. Most of the traits are right - but I don't believe all that star sign stuff though do you?. Everybody always used to have a good laugh at Russell Grant and Mystic Meg in the UK for their star reading! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:39, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is everything ok? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 22:31, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm not surprised at all. You have a great sense of humour, are a romantic, and are harding working and creative too. Thats probably why we appear to have so much in common. I;ve always held a pen funny though -with all five fingers in a kind of hooked way -not the usual three fingers. LOL -ever since I was a baby Blofeld. The teachers at school always used to make a big thing of it and always used to try me to get me to hold it "the correct way" as if my life depended on it but I said in my four year old baby voice "to hell with that idea!! LOL!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 22:45, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

100,000 edit

I've just walloped the 100,000 mark! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:58, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks!!! Its quite a major figure that -a benchmark. Edit count isn't really important to me but it looks quite noticeable every time I go into my preferences!! i never thought it would get as high as that, but if you do tasks on wikipedia which require a lot of edits such as geo atubbing, article tagging, minor edits and talking to people! it adds up!! I was recently given an admin tool too! I think its more important the number of articles created or number of GA'S rather than total edits but each one counts doesn't it. All the best!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:17, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks!!! Did you like the al-quieda penguins? Cute arren't they!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:20, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

OMG. i just had one of the greatest rocks in my life. It was AMAZING!!!!! I've put new strings on my Fender Strat Sky Blue I started off playing along to The Who Won't Get Fooled Again, and a few others and then I played along to the entire CD of Vault -all 16 classic hits with my amp turned up slightly and stereo up. It sounded almost like it did when I was at the Def Leppard concert. Its heavy metal but BEAUTIFULLY melodic. Its sounds amazing!! I've got it note for note!!! I've set it so it sounds like I;m playing inside a cathedral with reverb and tremelo dives and that with harmonics. I never thought I could ever sound like that!! I wish you could hear it. I feel high now!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:17, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Have a listen to this, this and this ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:24, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yeah its melodic rock ballads!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:35, 16 January 2008 (UTC) It wouldn't surprise me if she had lost her voice. Probably too much contact with Bobby Brown huh? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:37, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Have a listen to this.you don't like it really? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:39, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Exactly!! I prefer don't want to miss a thing though, but Aerosmith and Def leppard are amongst my favourite bands. I think both whitney and mariah are beautiful singers, I;ve always had a thing for Mariah, but there is little between them. I find Celine Dion a great singer too, but I often find her a little too much for my taste ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:20, 16 January 2008 (UTC) I quite like some of the more melodic metallica songs actually such as The Unforgiven etc, but no I also hate death metal -you know those evil weirdos with masks and rotten badgers on stage such as Slipknowt, Marilyn Manson and Korn etc -I can't stand that stuff either. I;m talking about classic rock -the ballads of hard rock bands like Guns and Roses, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Steel Dragon etc. November Rain is one of my favoutire songs of all time -I love those epic ballads -you know the ten minute songs with all the different parts to it also like I would do anything for love (Meatloaf) and Everything I do I do it For You (Bryan Adams), Bohemian Rghapsody (Queen) etc which have often got piano solos in it. I also love Walking in Memphis, Streets of Philadelphia (Bruce Springsteen) etc and love playing that on the piano in my conservatory overlooking the fields!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:28, 16 January 2008 (UTC).Reply

Of course. I managed to find a super sized 2008 calendar of Shania -its on my door!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:32, 16 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Preity Zinta edit

The only reservations he seems to have expressed are about stability, given that the article is currently still being changed regularly. That's why I added the comment about how the most recent changes were probably most often based on the proposed copyedit, and indicated that they aren't so much content revisions as copyedits, based on an existing page elsewhere, to indicate that the stability issue is not a very big one. That is the only reservation he seems to have had, and I hope that come the formal review the reviewer will take that into account. Based on that, if the formal reviewer basically agrees with Cirt, there shouldn't be any obstacles to at least GA status, barring unforseen changes in the interim. Shilpa Shetty edit

Hey there. Just a friendly reminder: please do not keep reverting edits before discussing your changes on the talk-page, especially since you know that said edits are not vandalism. Since you claim to know what a good-faith edit is, you should also know that the correct procedure for discussing potentially controversial edits is to discuss them on the talk-page. I mentioned before that reverting of good-faith edits that are not vandalism should not occur without any good cause; it would be helpful if you could ascertain the current conventions in this regard.

In the case of the language scripts, it doesn't matter if Shetty's native language is Tulu because most of her films are in Hindi, aside from the fact that the country in which she resides is India (Hindi-speaking) and, of course, she is most well-known for speaking in Hindi. She may speak ten languages but obviously these scripts do not need to be used. Actually, according to Wikipedia conventions, it is quite alright to use several foreign language scripts. There is no reason why the Hindi script of her name cannot be included. If you have experience in writing bio articles here on Wikipedia, you will have seen this already. See Gandhi for example. It would be quite alright to include both Hindi and Tulu, but if anything, the Tulu should be replaced with the Hindi on account of her being most known in the Hindi film industry. These are conventions that are observed all over Wikipedia, not just in Indian bio articles. It's hardly a massive deal anyway. Please remember what I mentioned before, these Indian actor bios are mainly under the control of WP:BLP than any other project and need to strictly follow those principles. Please, leave the writing to editors who know what they are doing. As for your claim that Shetty's participation in Miss Bollywood is not appropriate for the Lead, I think that you didn't know that this fact is required for the lead especially since the career section is going to be updated with this fact, therefore there is plenty of reason for the Lead to mention this. So again, please do not remove edits that are part of an ongoing project, which is what Wikipedia is by definition. And just to check it out, I have begun enquiries on this matter, but I'm pretty sure I'm correct as this seems to be the convention on bio articles throughout Wikipedia. Those that are regularly worked on anyway.

As for reducing the criticism sections, Wikipedia has no deadline and there is no rush in reducing the controversy sections, given that they have remained like that for more than a year and other things have been added to it. I'm busy right now but I will certainly get to it probably next week. Again, I think you're incorrect about the mafia links controversy; you can see from the number of sources that a large amount of coverage was given to it including in English newspapers. I will see how much reduction the section needs, as I had originally planned a dedicated article to these controversies considering that they are still ongoing. I agree totally about your other points about her being a performer etc., but as with anything, there is a serious lack of sources on this subject. It's unfortunate that we have to make do with what we have. No I haven't had a chance to see Phir Milenge, thogh, knowing me, I've probably seen it and forgotten all about it lol. :) I was planning to go to a certain library next week to pick up some books, apparently this library has got a few books on the Bollywood film industry so possibly some other articles can be updated with facts from these books. For example, last time I was there I saw that there was a book about Helen, so perhaps that will be a goo dmove to get that book and update the Helen article. Ditto for Guru Dutt. Best regards, Ekantik talk 00:59, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I just re-read my above message and realised how tired I was when I wrote it. I apologise for the short tone I may have taken, and hope you can extract the essence. I wanted to mention that, even though Shetty is a performer and the career section needs expansion, we must also remember that her appearance in CBB is a notable part of her bio as it is undeniable that she has achieved worldwide fame because of it, far more than she did as a Bollywood actress. In fact, she is still riding that CBB wave with the release of her Yoga DVD earlier this month which is apparently a commercial success. In any case, the importance of CBB to her career need not be understated. Though of course, much of the controversy details are to be moved to a dedicated article which I already set up at the time. WP:INCINE edit

As you're one of the most prolific contributors to INCINE articles, perhaps you might like to take a look at what I've done with the task-page? It certainly needs loads of improvement. The whole workgroup has become more or less inactive since I was last on Wikipedia. I guess I'll just have to take it upon myself to improve it and make it a nexus. Regards, Ekantik talk 01:02, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

By the way, I heard that you were responsible for getting the National Awards added to the awards section of the Actor infobox, congratulations on that. I was the one who got the Filmfare Awards added to it, and it was a massive struggle! :) Not because anybody had a problem with it, but because Indian editors who were around at the time had a problem with determining which awards were the most "prominent" such as the Oscars, Golden Globes, etc. So obviously I had to make a decision in deciding whether the Filmfare Awards were more 'prominent' than any of the other Indian awards like Zee Cine awards, Stardust Awards, etc. I was just interested in your rationale for why the National Awards should have been included? Regards, Ekantik talk 01:07, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I was pretty sure I the one who requested that Filmfare Awards was added to it!! Anyway Shahid Thunderball (film) and Daniel Craig passed GA! So did Madonna (entertainer) although I can't stand the woman and didn't edit that one ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:31, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Have a nice sleep? Yes we now have 24 Bond GA's!! Its looking good I think -hopefully Indian cinema can do the same! Madonna -as a performer she is very good as an ageing pop star would be -just don't like the woman -I find her arrogant, aggressive and cold. Her arms are even more tone muscled than mine!! Thats a point I noticed something about Salman Khan being a devoted body builder and works out every day? I also work out three times a week lifting heavy weights and rowing but bodybuilders always advise you to work out every other day to give your muscles time to recover and repair themsevles. Often I'm aching too much to do it every day anyway. Thats not good for him every single day lol/ I;m surprised he can stand and act! Oh I ave an orphaned image for Image:KalaBazar1960.jpg. Could you see which film it is actually for. Apparently it isn't 1960 ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:39, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes I'd noticed! Good work! You'll have to clarify whether 1997 is his birth date. It says so in the infobox but the category implies it is missing ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 15:02, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mmm. I'd put (c.1996-) in the intro then until it can be clarified (its most likely he was born in 1996 then unless he turned 11 in the last few days. Is there a category for Indian child actors? There are some fantastic child actors about these days -so mature in their abilities for their young years -Dakota Fanning is brilliant for one ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 15:06, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hola. Isn't 1996 a more likely birth date? Hmm its a good start but I think there is a minimum word requirement for a DYK. You may need to expand it a little. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:49, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mmm. Most of the DYK's on the front page at present are longer although Kirill Eskov isn't. Its quite tricky finding a fact isn't it! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:52, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

He sounds a great young actor though. Kiarostami always uses talented child actors in his films and they really are magnificent. Keep those new articles coming -I like it when Shahid goes into article creating mode. Regards ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 19:16, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey I've just started a article on Makola Market -now thats an extraordinary one. No images -now have a look at how many flickr has!! I;ve once again requested that a flickr user permits wikipedia to use the images! Man it would just be so much easy if flickr and the wiki commons joined forces. Don't you think. I;d love to upload the reclining jade green zinta. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 22:07, 17 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

OMG. Have a look at this and be honest. Which do you think is better . See List of museums in Alabama they've completely cocked it up!!!! Compare my last edit on it and what it looks like now. Have a look at what it looke dlike at here. What a bunch of fools. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:23, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

It looks like crap now. I can't see any logic behind it and how they can possibly think it is an improvement. Usually I couldn't care less about museums, but I came across them as pointless direwctory lists when categories can serve this purpose and tried to make them at least encyclopedic and slightly interesting with a summary and an image. They've also reverted my Template:Museums in the US which I thought looked good with a worse one. What the heck is going on?? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:31, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

See have a look at List of museums in California. I started settting up hoping half decent people would help fill in the tables I created. Give it a few days as this will too be like the first. Man. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:33, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm afraid I don't care enough about them to be bothered to argue with them. I've got an admin tool - rollback where I could revert any of their edits back to mine instantly, but there's three or four editors who seem to think it is better, If they filled in the tables with information and completed a full list and details following my example they'd be looking really good and half interesting in no time at all. This is exactly what I'm talking about, some people seem blind on how to build an encyclopedia. The worrying thing is there is too large a percentage of editors on here like this ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:45, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

At least one decent person has worked on what I started anyway see List of museums in Connecticut. This will be removed in a few days. Silly isn't it ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:52, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unbelievable. The same editor who thinks those bare lists are an improvement has now stressed that he thinks it is important to have inconsistency between the lists to give editors a chance to add what they want. Aaaaaahhh! This is totally against my beliefs on wikipedia -they should be as consistent and informative as possible. Tell me am I getting this wrong? Man its like hearing the wiki anti-christ. Terrible editor. Aarhh ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:43, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've gone all extra terrestrial and am searching for a new home on one of Jupiter;s moons. See Tohil Mons. Full of magma. What more can a bald headed power crazy old man want huh? I put so much effort into film and geography I forget to start articles on subjects like this. What do you think? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:55, 19 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh yeah its still a stub, it wasn't supposed to be a full article or even a good article, it was the images I was talking about - I thought an article on a extra terrestrial volcano (on a moon) was pretty cool, particularly with the Blofeld connection. A close up of the land on a moon on a planet millions of miles away is a treasure I think. It is always very useful as NASA images are always in the public domain. Why can't other people follow suite e.g the Bollywood film industry!!!? I did think about creating a braglist, but I would always forget to update it. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 10:41, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

LOL. The thing is it would take me quite some time to list it! It ranges all across the encyclopedia. I remember I even started an biographical article related to knitting!! -an interesting article on the world's fastest knitter but I can't remember the name! Personally I've never tried knitting myself though in case you were wondering, I'm not so good at feminine household tasks, but this person seemed very interesting. Nah the size of my bald head needs to be contained -otherwise world war may break out. lol ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:46, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yep lol I'm afraid I can't!! I remember I stubbed the world's longest living dog though Bluey (Australian cattle dog). But thats a crappy stub! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:02, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, I think he was a kind of celebrity in Australia but there should be more info available on him. Perhaps some Aussie library somewhere has newspaper articles on him -its bound to. I had rather hoped an Aussie wikipedian could have found something. Perhaps you could? Just kidding. Hey last night we set up about 50 new wikiprojects yesterday for Africa. Hopefully people will gain interest in the different groups and articles will get more coverage and improve. Now I think I'll continue where I left off last night creating the categories!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:51, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes it must feel strange living in a different country for so long. I mean a couple of weeks or months would be great - a nice change but it would only be a matter of time before I felt homesick and miss my roots and home conventions. It does seem though that at least you aren;t completely shut off from it and can at least share some of the Bollywood films at the cinema. If you were living over here you;d be missing out ob them big time ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 15:14, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I remembered I started Peter Vasilevich Verigin . Looks like another editor has expanded it greatly. I wish people did that with everything else!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:39, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

OMG. Have you heard of Tania Zaetta? Wow!!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:35, 20 January 2008 (UTC) My o my I bet you liked Salaam Namaste. Her and Zinta together would kill me! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:39, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your not kidding!!! Gorgeous!! Anyway I'll probably speak to you in a few hours I'm going to try and row 5km on the rowing machine (but will probably end up doing 2km) and do some weights, have a shower and finish off watching the Magnificent Seven 1960 starring Blofeld look alike Yul Brynner lol. Too much wikiing is not good for the fitness!! See ya! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 19:30, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi I;m back. Ashamed to say I wimped out and only did 1.4km not 5!! Its very hard work and it is too boring long to do it for too long!. Are there any more hotties I should know about that you;ve concealed from me? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:35, 20 January 2008 (UTC) Wow Kachche Dhaage is just spewing with information isn't it! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:38, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Have a look at Qorban Soleimani, Gopuz and Akwidaa if you are interested. My new articles today! Are you OK because you didn't respond before? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:58, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah yes I removed the message because I didn't want you to think I was whining too much. Luckily about 6 or 7 people turned up very quickly and put that clown in his place and supported me!! So his idea was rejected. Incidentally I was looking through the obituaries and started the Iranian musician because of Heath Ledger which is a very sad case. Only 28, but you must admit he has looked pale, thin and ill for sometime hasn't he - ever since he chopped off his long hair. I'm always moved when somebody young dies like that. Yes I do like writing articles and wish I could solely concentrate on writing, but so much work needs doing with so many of the stubs that it will be some time before I can do this more often!! Yesterday I added locator maps for all the places in Zimbabwe and Zambia , but there are still towns in other places with over 300,000 and are still one liners. I started Akwidaa because I made another agrement with a flickr user and uploaded all the images, plus I sorted out the Ghana locator map, which makes things much better! And then of course there are articles like the ones you and I laughed at before!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:13, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

It is a huge ambition of mine to be able to have access to any place in the world and have pictures like Image:Akwidaa3.jpg which you wouldn't normally get hold of. Places in exotic countries that you or I had never heard of and try to build it. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:22, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I believe he had pneumonia and during filming of his latest film he was really disturbed by the character he was playing in the film which was a psychotic - The Joker in Batman I think - see the horrible image here. He was only sleeping two hours a night max, for many weeks . Sleeping pills were found by his body but I don't know if any other illegal drugs were involved. It seems like he overdosed on medication out of frustration or what I don';t know, forensics are looking into it. A combination of the prescrpition drugs and a weakened immune system from the pneumonia and sheer exhustation could have finished him off, even to a young man in his prime ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:27, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your feeling ill too? Mmm - i hate January nobody feels well in the UK, too many debts and just general dullness with the weather too. On the radio they said that January 22 or the thrid week of January is always the most depressing day/week of the year because of this combination of things, highest sick leave from work too. In Australia though I thought the weather would be hot and sunny as its your summer. Hey did you see my treasured tan leather jacket? A tribute to Mr. Durden. Cool isn't it!! The leather feels so soft -quality but its a bit small on me. Its looks cool with my aviators - Bollywood movie star style - I love their fashion- although when its time to wear the jacket their generally isn't too much sun about!! I added it to the Leather jacket page yesterday - I was half playing about though! -but think its quite funny that one of my possessions is displayed on wikipedia ! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:44, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I find it quite amusing more than anything that we have all kinds of articles on the most mundane of subjects!! Like wallpaper, watering can, potato, Soil, Leather jacket, etc. Its amazing what people can write isn't it! Don't you think? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:55, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dont you think Bollywood stars ooze style? See Zinta in shades and a suit ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:57, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes i saw it straight away of course!!! There wasn't that much of Tania but Zinta looked stunning in every shot. She really looks good on film doesn't she. I think the leading Bollywood women look hundreds of times more attractive than most of the American/British actresses. The simply look HOT!! I've got a thing about Michelle Pfeiffer, Kim Basinger, a young Bo Derek and Britt Ekland, and Charlize Theron who are blondes though although I normally prefer darker women. Do you find the women I mentioned above attractive also? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:12, 23 January 2008 (UTC) You haven't answered my questions. Britt Ekland in the 60s . Thats my model blonde ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:23, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes I saw that about six months ago when you provided the link last time. Niice! I think you might disagree though but I hate James Blunt. His voice grates with me. They should pick a different track to accompany it! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:26, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Nice song, wrong singer. Its odd but James Blunt was intially quite well liked by most, but after that song played too much and he released other songs many people started to realise his voice sucks!! He sounds like frickin donald duck on helium with a pencil shoved up his arse -to put it "bluntly". You understand? (Blofeld humour refers to both a blunt pencil and Blunt name -kill two birds in one stone ). Its only female admirers now who have brought him to where he is. LOL!!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:42, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Crikey that was a good one wasn't it. LOL. The song 1973 is a joke. Mr Duck and Mrs Duck hadn't even started dating in 1973 - hence Blunt arse wasn't around to experience it or even have the frickin right to quack about it. Quack quack quack quack quack; quack quack. (That means something rather rude in Blunt duck talk which I can't repeat). Saludos amigo. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:54, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

LOL. Wow that was quick. Soleimani hit the front page with a DYK only hours ago and I missed it. LOL its so funny when a page gets traffic and people start squabbling over it see here. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 09:53, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I know. Anybody would think that all people do is look at the front page!! Hope you are well. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 10:04, 24 January 2008 (UTC) Hi friend. I just noticed somebody started Jawab. {The lovoely Prem Chopra is in it. Could you try to expand it when you have a moment thanks. Add a plot/cast section ot something if you can. Only if you feel up to it though . Hope you are feeling better. Cheers ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 10:54, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Howz that? - Cinema of Kenya is new. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:20, 24 January 2008 (UTC) Thanks amigo. I was afraid there was too much original research in there -there isn't too much web related stuff on it but its a nice start. I can't think of a question for DYK though!! Hey have you tried out the new Modern browser in your preferences -the name of the articles comes up in white along the top -it looks awesome I think -looks like a completely different site -I love it. Tell me what you think of it. This is kind of the idea I had for the wikipedia design I always wanted to do remember? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:32, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

LOL. Nah the thing is if I create a list I'd feel under pressure to create as many articles for it as I can. I would begin to think about creating a DYK or two every day but I;d rather do it leisurely when I'm not sorting out stubs ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:42, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ahhhh. My cretin father gave me peppers with my pasta man and my skin has come out all inflamed, yellow peppers too ahh - he knows I';m allergic to them. I've just spent the last half hour trying to stop sweating and drinking about ten cups of water. Its horrible. My throat has turned completely dry. I get that kind of reaction when I eat peppers and onions. Do you have any allergies? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:37, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes I like them too but am allergic to them. I'm extremely busy this moment -I'm flooding the new pages LOL!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:48, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well I won't be making a habit of it!! This is only because i have been creating 5 articles a minute in bot mode. At least five smaller wikipedias have all of these articles years ago and some of quite detailed. Given time these should all develop fully -theres actually about 25,000 articles missing in France. They've been red linked for too long! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:20, 25 January 2008 (UTC) How are you friend? I've think I've just set a record of 50 new articles generated every 6 minutes!! -there must be between 1500 and 2000 new pages estimated. If every one of them develops fully eventually it will be a job well worth doing. Hey have you seen Stephen Kings It? That clown freaks me out!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:03, 26 January 2008 (UTC) Oh horrible clown really scared me. The line "We all float" when he appeared in the sewer and one of his baloons floating down the street, and thirty years later when the children were grown up and repeated it was really haunting. It doesn't sound much of a creepy line, but in the circumstances than that horrid clown suit really goes down as one of the scariest moments I've ever encountered in film (although this film was made for tv). In my view much scarier than even The Exorcist, because of the desolate location and vulnerability of the kids to a monster like that. And the clown mocked one of the kids for having a stutter "A B A Buh a Billy Boy". Rahuls done a good job on that article but it is important he weighs up those reviews I believe. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 20:39, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I just checked. Yup its over 1700 articles and counting in one day -thats the usual combined amount for everyone -we've jumped from 2,189,000 to nearly 2,195,000 in two days. I wish they could all look like Conques to start with but if we get several thousand new articles like this eventually it will have been a task well done. When you see the poor new stubs many don't realise that these articles potentially can be full eventually! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:16, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

See these are the sorts of beautiful places that are missing, see Image:Entraygues-sur-Truyère JPG05.jpg -looks lovely doesn't it ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:24, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

LOL. When are people going to learn? I;ve received the fabulous what wikipedia is tag for Ottrott!! Now thats what I call judging a book by its cover. It needn't stink of rotten cheese if you don't want it to. Anyway I've spent WAY!! too long on here today, tomorrow will be rather more relaxed and lazy I think. Buenos Noches ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 00:31, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Have you heard of Haifa Wehbe? OMG she is stunning!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 10:58, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

She a killer isn't she. Very very exotic looking. Theres seomthing also about certain Arabic women who have those emerald green eyes and black hair -its just a dream combination!!! Imagine having this looking at you. Wow!! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:28, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

There we go ahhh, Image:Baddi Eesh.jpg ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:39, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah I've just returned I just had a sleep -I had a major headache feel better now. I've really got to cut back on the chocolate. I don't smoke or drink much much -coffee and chocolate are my vices!! You;ve got to be frickin kiddin me -Emma Watson an FA? No where near it!!!! What on earth is going on? The Zinta article is WAY!! better than this -its not even particularly well written either -it could have easily been written by a fourteen year old. "She has a piercing, delicate aura that makes you want to gaze and gaze at he" -if that appeared in the Zinta articles it would have been rejected. I really don't get whats going on here these days -the article is pretty basic -its well referenced but then there should be millions of sources for a Harry Potter star -but that doesn;t make it an FA ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:55, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Look, I said months ago the article was ready for an FA and 25 others agreed with me. All it needed was those minor edits to address tone and structure and to update the references and it was there ready for the taking. Unnecessarily it has been set back by perhaps six months -time you or I can't afford to waste. That whole FA ordeal just told me that FA's are the outcome of a tiny group's perception of an article -they cannot possibly reflect everybody feelings about the article on this site anyway. Quite honestly some B class articles I've read kick the living arse off some FA listed articles on here. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:17, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

OOOMMGGG. I;ve died and gone to heaven. Check her out physically on youtube in that green dress -remember what we said about it. She is killing meplease see [1] this instant! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 17:45, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

All she has to do is twitch that body slightly and she's got me big time!! Crazily amazing body. Emerald eyes and long black hair wow and that curvy figure. My oh my. If she can act I think she would be great in Bollywood. She certainly looks the part. WOuldn't you love to see her in a Bollywood film. Just imagine her with Zinta and Bipasha also in green dresses. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:08, 27 January 2008 (UTC).Reply

Do you think I've got good taste in women? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:11, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Absolutely. Exactly. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:39, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes! it works. Have a look at my map on Aappilattoq (Nanortalik). Even Greenland can be covered!! Even the legoland settlements like Ittoqqortoormiit. SOme of those places in Greenland or Iceland or Faroe islands look so cool. I;ve flown over Greenland several times and it looks freezing and very white, not green lol! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 19:51, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nope. The furthest south-east I've been is Lombok when I went to Bali. The furthest I've been is Hawaii where I would love to live someday. Kauai was the coolest place going. I bought this really nice Polynesian tribal pendant on the island, with a whale tooth, which has been worn by many of the indigenous people for centuries. Its probably quite similar to those Maori ones too. I wear it to this very day, with Tibetan beads that I ordered from Hong Kong. I loved Hong Kong too. So cool. Someday I'll visit Aus, my sister spent 8 weeks out there last year and my mother spent 9 weeks there when she was in her twenties. i have many relatives in Adelaide and as I said previously my dads old surfer friend, the 6ft 8 inch The Bear lives up in Queensland. My parents visited Aus and New Zealand two years ago ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:06, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Now that would be paradise. Living in a place like Kauai with a woman like Miss Haifa or Shania. Ah I can only dream!! DO you like Jack Johnson by the way? That guy is as cool as a cucumber -good surfer too ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 21:24, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

They've fixed it now so that red links show up on the modern broswer ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 15:28, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Initially red links didn't show. Now they do -your pop ups should work ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 15:36, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Really? Ah well. Many people seem to like the default version. I guess thats why it is default lol. Me personally I like to change them around every now and again, I get bored with looking at the same screen otherwise! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 15:49, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Give me a few minutes. I've been uploading some Estonia images to the commons. I;ll see whats up in a mo ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:01, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah is that all it was - I was expecting dome huge frucas. He's got a nerve showing up like that after all of his "abundance of edits" to wikipedia over the last two months. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 16:10, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm so happy with those locator templates. They are a miracle!! I've recently created more maps for countries like Chile and the Falkland Islands and now Kazakhstan. See what a difference the infobox, map and images make to Category:Cities in Kazakhstan. Eventually nearly every settlement on wikipedia anywhere in the world will have a locator like this. E.g see Kokshetau and Darwin, Falkland Islands. I think it is a great thing that any place anywhere can be programmed on a map like this. Mandalay, Lusaka, Sucre, Maardu anywhere!!! and of course legoland (which coincentally it was 50 years of lego yesterday lol). They do a lot to improve articles and if I can get hold of images like I did with Maardu, it means a lot to me. I wish I could get more people working with me though, most of the time I always feel like I am by myself on here and prefer to work with people in coordination. With Zinta it was one of the stark few times I've ever felt the collaboration thing on wikipedia. This is why I keep in contact with you regularly because I hate working on wikipedia without speaking to anybody who seem to share my interests and personality. Unfortunately many people on this site I've encountered are the quiet geeky types who seem unwilling to share conversation or are overtly rude or arrogant. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 18:21, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you OK? Hey I've requested the creation of a User:BaldBot. Do you like the name lol ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 11:03, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

A bot is used for repetitive tasks which are done virtually automatically and in bulk. I'm not certain about how it can generate articles with fuller content either, but because the French communes were being started so quickly, around 6 a minute I've been advised to get bot permission. I was actually reading a book while I started them while my right hand was just clicking, glancing at the screen every now and then. I'd set it up so with each click on my right hand the article was generated. The thing is because I don't want to be an admin, and am not one, each time I start a new article it is highlighted in yellow to be filtered. Admins automatically have their articles filtered. Seems silly doesn't it -it makes me look as if my content isn't as good and I'm not capable of creating an article like an admin. When I create a lot of articles it means a huge amount of work for the new page patrol to check each one. How are you anyway? It is so bright here today its almost too bright to look at the screen!! It feel slike spring today rather than a miserable January day! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:04, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nooo. Youtube have removed one of my favourite Shania videos!!! Surely over three quarters of the content on there is copywrighted or violates it in some way. Hey is Sarvagnya back editing again now or it just one of his stray visits? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:29, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thats brilliant news Shahid!! If good old Sandy believes it is up to FA standard then we've got nothing to worry about. She rather reminds me of one of my old piano examiners, a very hard marker indeed. Even Mozart would have barely got a frickin pass from her lol!! Perhaps its me, but whenever I have turned out at an FA she always seems to have a lot to say!! I remain firm that it will reach FA eventually, I recognized this months ago. GA's take ridiculously long to clear don't they. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 12:57, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Manos" The Hands of Fate is not a exactly a brilliant article either is it? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:19, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

You mean the Reese Witherspoon article? I haven't read it fully but it looks like a very good article to me -looks far better than the Harry Potter girl and current FA front page articles . Its up for FA isn't it ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:36, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

My User:BaldBot is set up. I need to sort out a password now and then I'm in. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

"I've been expecting you". Just waiting for the flag now. It feels weird using a different account BaldBot (talk) 14:39, 30 January 2008 (UTC) Well there are different sorts of bots -ones that operate automatically e.g like the annoying Beta Command bot and then there are those that are partly manually operated and require little effort to edit. 5 or 6 articles a minute has to receive clearance anyway. If I could devise an evil way of generating thousands of detailed articles automatically without having to manually edit I would be the first to do it!! With what I've seen done I'm certain wikipedia could and should be generating many thousands of missing decent new articles every day. I'll have speak to Polbot and ask him how he does it. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 15:21, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

LOL. It's a play on Dr. Julius No from the first Bond film who said that his set up on Crab Key was worth $1 million. "You were admiring my aquarium. $1 million Mr. Bond." Of course Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers proposed to hold the world ransom for $1 million in the 1990s as being still stuck in the 1960s he believed it was an exorbitant amount of money. Its a whole parody of the 1966 volcano thing. It would be nice to find that sum of money lying on a talk page though wouldn't it! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 15:35, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you talking about KANK? That seems fine -you can't evade the truth for the sake of seeming "unneutral". As long as it is referenced should be OK, what does miss rocky think? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 15:54, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah I see. I'm wondering though why the Koi... Mil Gaya doesnt' mention anything about its filmfare awards or acclaim in the intro though but mentions the Jersualem Film Festival. Aren't the awards if anything more important than this?. Perhaps it could summarize and state the number of awards in won intially? Wowo I bet you loved that one -with Rekha too -Preity and Rekha. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 16:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hurrah the bot has got the green light. Hasta la Vista baby ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 16:49, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hehe. See the User:BaldBot page lol. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 19:27, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hehe. Thats a whole lot of baldness! Hey do you have any intentions to develop any other articles to GA? I would have a go at writing one myself some time but RS are always a problem. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 19:32, 30 January 2008 (UTC) Yeah I see why you feel like that, with the "Prevention of Indian Cinema Articles Reaching GA Brigade" (PICARGB) about. Good news for WP:Actors though -Witherspoon is now an FA ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 19:58, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Zinta is 33 today edit

Happy Birthday Zinta!!! May thou ever grew more beautiful and greener as thou grows old -lol. An amigo of mine is 25 today too! He is a teacher now. His name is Rhys MacPherson - Rhys is a welsh name and MacPherson is Scottish! although we call him Maccy. I was browsing some actor and film articles last night to get my passion for them back again as I;ve been concentrating on geography the last month and I have to say that I browsed some of the Bollywood actor articles and I could clearly see the articles which have been developed by yourself and Bollywooddreamz. If you go out of zone of concentrating on Indian cinema and look at the pages in the encyclopedia as a whole they are a great asset and a pleasant surprise!! Well done! My feeling though is that the indian cinema group should also be aiming to write some GA standard (I mean standard and quality not what the others think) film articles as very few Bollywood film articles are fully developed even if many of the latest ones are adequate. I think we should draw up a list of core Bollywood film articles that should be developed. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 10:48, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've edited Laaga Chunari Mein Daag a bit. Theres no reason why articles like this with a bit of copy editing and compiling reliable sources and general polishing why we couldn't get a string of GA's for Bollywood films -heaven knows there is enough of them available lol!!! I know you feel dejected about what happened with Zinta but most of the Bond films I've worked on have passed GA easily. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 11:08, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I;ve done some cleanup today on Bollywood -wish I had more time to dedicate to Bollywood. One thing though can you start an article on Zameen (2003 film)? Thankyou ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 14:17, 31 January 2008 (UTC). My god Udita Goswami is sexy in Aksar. Wow! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 14:28, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nor do I normally but in that film she looks hot. Hey check out my edits today. All 100% Bollywood. It is so artistic this is probably why I was attracted to it in the first place because I thrive on physical attractiveness and colour. Added images to Dil Chahta Hai and standardized pages including all of Zinta's films etc. Cast and character sections shouldn't be seperate -see Casino Royale for guideline. If anything all cast sections should have asummary of the chaarcters in it. I'll merge a few later. Articles such as KANK could become a GA esaily with a bit of work ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 16:30, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't she look dreamy in Image:DilChahta.jpg? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 16:32, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Personally I think Indian cinema is coming on leaps and bounds and I overall I'm quite impressed. As there are relativiely few actors compared to the number of films it is indeed very important to develop all of the actor articles. I also added a filmography to Jackie Shroff which took ages!! It is extremely important to connect all of the articles together and standardize everything so all of Bollywood is as one and Indian cinema all well connected. I'll fill in red links in the filmographies in the coming weeks ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 16:36, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

On the other hand you pick an article at random and it is like Samay: When Time Strikes which is pretty shocking ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 16:40, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

No. What I am saying is that the bones are in place on many of the films and actor articles already. With a day or twos work many articles like KANK could easily be quickly copy edited and improved and polished off. I only spent two-three hours on the Thunderball article max and it quickly passed GA like that. If we can put the Zinta ordeal behind us I genuinely think we could have a string -I mean tens of GA's by the end of the year . If it is well written, neutral and informative and reliably sourced theres absolutely no reason why these film articles can't be developed quickly as pass GA. We have achieved 25+ Bond GA'S and most were done with relatively little work. The nomination process is too sluggish though I agree. All I;d like to see is more information become available for the produection/filming side of Indian films which is what is missing from these articles at present. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 16:56, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well you always seem pretty quiet when I discuss the lists. -I get the impression you think they are pointless anyway. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ $1,000,000? 21:03, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Darsheel Safary edit

Hey Shahid, just dropped by to tell you that you've done an amazing job with Darsheel Safary's page. Keep up the good work!! --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 02:47, 18 January 2008

I see what you mean about not being able to expand it - he's only starred in one film? Any idea if he has another in the pipeline? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:28, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

See Darsheel Safary now. OK? Looks like a cheeky monkey doesn;t he -a young star in the making! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 14:41, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey how are you doing buddy?? Hope everything is fine!! Did you know that Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be seen opposite each other in Mr. and Mrs. Khanna? Kapoor also confirmed that she is in the film but I don't want the article to be created now because things might change. It might get shelved just like Lajjo. LOL. It can be created later once it starts filming. BTW, do you think this news is true? It is reported that Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone will be making guest appearances in the film. --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 02:07, 21 January 2008
Hey Shahid, I had some free time, so I decided to expand Rani Mukerji's career section. LOL, currently all of the edits on the history's first page are from me. I also did an analysis of film reviews on Talk:Rani Mukerji (just like Kapoor's and Zinta's) to show the majority opinion. What do you think? --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 04:16, 26 January 2008
Thanks Shahid, thank you so much for your kind words. While editing Mukerji's page, most of the stuff I left the way it was, I just added things to make it sound better. I did try to keep the article neutral that's why I tried to remove the POV and the BBC review for LCMD did give an impression of POV. I really appreciate your edits on her page. I also tried to find criticisms to keep the article neutral but as you said for all those B-grade films of the 2000s like Bichoo, Badal, films with Govinda etc., she did receive criticism but they are non-notable. Currently, I think her article is not that bad. If we all work hard on other Bollywood pages, I am sure that they won't be deprived anymore. Once again thanks for your kind words Shahid. BTW, did you hear about the Stardust Awards, I am so happy that Bebo and Akki won the Stardust Star of the Year Award - Female & Stardust Star of the Year Award - Male respectively. =) --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 20:09, 26 January 2008
Hey Shahid, I have a concern about Mukerji's page. The Early work, until 1997 section is so short and small, and I was thinking if whether it would be appropriate to combine it with the Breakthrough, 1998-2002 section. What do you think? --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 03:36, 27 January 2008
Shahid, I noticed that you added the sentence "Although Badal was one of the highest grossing films of 2000, she still did succeed to establish her status in the industry at that point of time. LOL, I think something is wrong. The ref. indicates that her career is going nowhere. I think that you were trying to right she still did not succeed to establish her status in the industry at that point of time. Correct me if I am wrong. --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 23:09, 27 January 2008

Shahid, did you see the 14th Annual Star Screen Awards? I saw it yesterday. The award ceremony wasn't as good as last year but still watchable. Apart from the Star Screen Award Best Child Artist that Darsheel Safary won, he also won the Special Jury Award for Best Actor. There were some winners that weren't even mentioned on Indiafm.com's winners lists. Amitabh Bachchan did win the Star Screen Award Best Actor (Critics) for Cheeni Kum and I indicated that. Furthermore, Ranbir Kapoor also won this new award called Star Screen Awards, Nokia Future Entertainer of the Year. I don't think refs for these awards can be found yet. Oh BTW, before Safary, child actor Ayesha Kapoor won the Star Screen Award Best Child Artist for Black too, which I also indicated on the list. LOL. --Bollywood Dreamz Talk 03:52, 29 January 2008

Thanks edit

Okay if not a page move her name should be added as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the opening sentence as done in Eva Longoria and Sarah Michelle articles. Right? --KnowledgeHegemony 08:06, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
