Proposed deletion of Mascarade edit

The article Mascarade has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability; no references

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Peter Marshall (actor) edit

Hello, Salvadorcases. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Peter Marshall (actor), for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Peter Marshall (actor) to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, Qasaur (talk) 13:17, 5 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Dale of merchants edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dale of merchants requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Updating facts and sources edit

Hello. When you update information as you did here, please also provide a new reference. If you change information that is sourced to a particular reference, it appears that you are inserting false information.

Also, per MOS:DATE, dates should be written in the format "6 September 2019", not "6th of September" etc. Cheers, Number 57 16:08, 6 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Reminder edit

Many thanks for your contribs at Wingspan (board game)! They are correct, but please remember to add reliable refs (see WP:RS) that back up your claims (I've done that this time), otherwise your edits might be easily reverted. VickKiang (talk) 21:50, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I didn't get the information from Internet. Salvadorcases (talk) 11:22, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, but I'm just doing a gentle reminder on WP policies you probably already know. It's very important for our articles to have reliable refs (WP:RS) that meet WP:V (verifiability). If you are referencing an offline source, you can add a book ref. If it doesn't have a ref, some editors could consider it WP:OR (original research). October 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Skipple. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Dominion (card game), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Skipple 15:22, 17 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Skipple, as it said, it is expected in Christmas. Then there will be much more information and it will be properly expanded. With such a zeal I guess you would probably like to do it yourself, fine by me. Salvadorcases (talk) 16:25, 17 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm unable to find any reliable source that even speculates when the expansion will be released. I'm not sure where you got this from but you have this information, please feel free to cite it within the article.
As VickKiang said previously, whenever you are adding information into an article it needs to be appropriately cited. Please see WP:V for more information. Skipple 20:35, 17 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The status per its official website is coming soon, other refs state later this year per 1, see also 2, but where did you get that the Christmas stat? Also, adding info about an expansion without writing in proper sentences nor explaining what it is IMHO is unconstructive. The lack of refs violate WP:V, it might be because I didn't find it, if so, apologies, however, you are usually expected to do so per WP:BURDEN. Adding cn might be useful as an interim step perhaps instead of removing until after a couple of days, as the policy states Consider adding a citation needed tag as an interim step, but IMHO I agree with Skipple's warning, regardless of whether it's online or offline a ref it need to be cited.
