November 2011 edit

Hello Qasaur and welcome to Wikipedia. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please remember to disclose these connections.  Abhishek  Talk 16:51, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi Abhishek, I might have had one Wikipedia account previously but I didn't do any edits on it as far as I can remember. The reason why I made a new account is because I couldn't remember the password and I might have not been satisfied by the name. This is the only account I use. --Qasaur (talk) 16:58, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Rajesh Pandey edit

Hello Qasaur, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Rajesh Pandey to a proposed deletion tag. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow to protect the encyclopedia, and do not fit the page in question. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. the panda ₯’ 09:06, 12 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

List of Senior Advocates of Nigeria edit

Thank you for your recent edit on the above article, wikipedia appreciates your help. I want to let you know that I removed the "ref tag" you placed on the above article because it has been referenced. However, entries with its own wikipedia page may not necessarily need to be referenced because its notability has been established by its own page. Only entries without its own page need to be referenced before inclusion (to establish its notability) and if not referenced, it may be removed without notice per WP:burden. If you need any help or question, don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Wikicology (talk) 15:04, 5 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the proposed deletion of Dreamius Smith edit

Hello Qasaur, thank you for noticing that I failed to reference my sources on the article, Dreamius Smith. I have since fixed the problem. Padsquad2010 (talk) 20:06, 13 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Kristin Lucas edit

Hi Quasar, you flagged my new article on Kristin Lucas for tone. I am a little unclear on what your specific concern is here. I don't think you are calling out WP:NPOV and I don't think the tone is overly or underly formal. Please clarify. I did move the declaration of notability into the first sentence, if that helps matters.--Theredproject (talk) 20:48, 13 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hey Theredproject, my main concern was that your article (at least in certain parts) sounded a little like a subjective description of Lucas' works rather than an encyclopedic description. Additionally, the structure of the article isn't appropriate as a biography of an individual, but that is easily fixed by following this template and rewriting the article to suit. Qasaur (talk) 20:52, 13 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Hi Quasar, can you let me know which parts you felt were too descriptive? It is necessary to actually describe the work. Do note that my sentences summarize descriptions others have made, in quite possibly most reliable sources for art (MoMA, Art in America, Art Forum, MIT Press, etc). Given that it is a stub, my understanding was that it doesn't make sense to follow the full blown Template until there are several paragraphs of text.--Theredproject (talk) 22:01, 13 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
I agree, I think I might have been mistaken and perceived the article as subjective. Qasaur (talk) 12:10, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
