Yessss! You made an account! Totally sweet! Anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people. Besides that, you shouldn't feel nervous or anything about a good-willed contribution. If you're concerned, talk to us. Play in your user area. For example, create User:Sally Summers/test. If you feel nervous, feel free to talk to us. When you're ready, start your first article using the Article Wizard. You don't HAVE to use it, but for your first article it really helps. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references. If you'd like more guidance, you guessed it, talk to us. Writing about fiction

Hello. Welcome to Wikipedia. There is a lot of material on Wikipedia that should not be there. This is because there are more editors adding things than there are experiences ones to either remove it or clean it up. This can be very confusing to newcomers, as they wonder why their new article is not acceptable when there are so many similar ones. We have a page: WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS. Basically, articles about fiction (character articles, for instance), must have real-world context. Character articles

Hi. Character articles should not just be in the form of a biography, but should have real world content, like the development of the character(which includes the casting, the thought process behind creating the character, which can be sourced from interviews), and reception of the character like sources saying things like "x is so awesome, because they do this". If a character doesn't have Development or Reception sourced by third party reliable sources, then don't bother creating articles for them, because they are not notable.
