Request on 09:07:53, 27 May 2023 for assistance on AfC submission by Racer235

Ay you reviewed my article about Christ the King. When you say the draft references does not meet the standards of Wikipedia, what does that mean exactly?

@Racer235 in general, to accept a new article, we want to see multiple independent sources with in depth coverage of the subject; this is to make sure that a subject actually has enough unbiased content written about it to have a reliable article. Your first source is the Church's website, and the second is also in the first person ("our parish"). The third is more ambiguous but still not great - it's by the diocese, which is not the church itself, but not fully independent either.
If you would like to keep working on this article, I'd try to find 2-3 newspaper articles or substantial mentions in books (at least a paragraph or two) that are not by any organization in the church hierarchy or otherwise affiliated with it. Rusalkii (talk) 16:48, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
