My Article on NBC/MSNBC News Reporter Garrett Haake

Hi Rusalkii,

I was wondering if you could kindly give me a more detailed answer as to why you rejected the my draft article on Garrett Haake. Was it because one of my sources was an article about him from his alma matter or was it because I just need to find other sources to add to my article?

The first article is from his alma mater, which is fine for non-controversial claims but does not count as one of the independent sources we like to see (universities generally like publishing puff pieces about alumni). The Daily Beast is not a great source (WP:DAILYBEAST) and the other two are brief pieces about his daughter's birth - I'm not really seeing a lot of substance here. Honestly it's borderline and another reviewer might accept, especially if you add some more independent sources, but that's my take. If I saw another substantive independent source about him I'd probably accept. Rusalkii (talk) 17:47, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
