October 2009 edit

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Mark Brake. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 09:46, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

This page has a long history of being vandalised Rosit (talk) 09:51, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

And my edits were not vandalism, not by a long shot. So if you have undone them thinking that they were, I suggest you revert yourself. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 09:56, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Mark Brake. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Alansohn (talk) 18:53, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

There IS an explanation Rosit (talk) 19:01, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
But not an acceptable one. You might want to consult WP:VANDAL, which makes it clear that removal of properly sourced information is considered vandalism here. regards, Nomoskedasticity (talk) 19:06, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Just in case you don't see my edit summary in the history: once a request for speedy deletion has been declined, you're not allowed to re-add it (and anyway an admin would see that this has happened and refrain from deletion). cheers, Nomoskedasticity (talk) 16:37, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

CSD for Mark Brake edit

If a CSD has been removed by someone other than the editor placing it, it can not be readd again. Your options if you want to persue deletion would be a PROD or placing it at AfD. These policy pages should help:

Wikipedia:Deletion discussions are the normal method of carrying out deletion.
Wikipedia:Proposed deletions, for nominating pages for uncontroversial deletion.
Wikipedia:Office actions, for rare, urgent, and important deletions usually involving legal issues, done by foundation officials.
