Redirects edit

You tagged the redirect Emilee Flood for deletion saying it was in the way of creating an article, and I deleted it, although that was not strictly required. You could have just edited the redirect to convert it into an article. You then tagged the redirect Emilee (singer). There is no need to delete that page. If you are about to create the article Emilee Flood about a singer associated with the song "ILY (I Love You Baby)", once you have created the article, the redirect can simply be edited to point to the new article, there is no need to delete it. Also I deleted the redirect Proxima Nova at your request, with a similar reason. Is it correct that you intend to also create a new article at that page? Please ping me with your response. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 19:08, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for your work on typography articles! Same message-there's no reason to delete a redirect to replace it with an article, you can just go to the redirect, click edit and create your article. It's only necessary to delete a redirect when you've got a draft you've been working on for a long time and now it's ready to move into article space. I've put the redirect back for now. Blythwood (talk) 20:18, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@DESiegel: Yes, I deleted it to let others create the article and I'll take care of the translation to the Spanish language, where I am most active. Respect to Emilee Flood singer, it is not only known and associated by the ILY (I Love You Baby) song, but also by the songs: "Sentimental", with Edgar Sandoval Jr., and "Love Me Too" with Joseph Tilley, as a featured artist. Thanks, --Rodney Araujo Tell me - My contributions 20:51, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Do you have some reason to think that you, or soemoen else, will be creating Emilee Flood and Proxima Nova in the next day or two? if not, i will undelete the redirects. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 21:40, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Emilee (singer) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Emilee (singer), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ok, tranks, Rodney Araujo Tell me - My contributions 13:40, 24 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Mccapra: In the article (or draft article) “Emilee (singer)” there's missing his biography and musical career, this is the most important thing when writing about a singer, Rodney Araujo Tell me - My contributions 13:46, 24 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

September 2020 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Microsoft Windows, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. The {{Italic title}} template should be reserved for situations where the article is about a book, movie, or other work whose title is rendered in italics.C.Fred (talk) 18:09, 10 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

File rename edit

Hi Rodney, Ignore the ping (I assume you've put the rename on the wrong page), What's the difference between both names as I for the life of me cannot see it, If you let me know I can move it, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 18:35, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Davey2010: Yes, it is a mistake, because the title of the file is not "Surf Mesa - Ily (I Love You Baby) (ARTV Remix)", is "Surf Mesa - Ily (I Love You Baby) (ARTY Remix)". For this reason, the file must to be renamed. Thanks, Rodney Araujo Tell me - My contributions 18:49, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi Rodney, So what's wrong with the current title ?, What needs to be changed and why ?, Sorry as I said I can't see the difference between both of them?, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 18:52, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your drive-by tag on Clematis rehderiana was misapplied. There are two citations, one for each sentence. Furthermore, there are 11 outside sources in the taxonbar at the bottom of the article. February 2021 edit

Your recent editing history at File:Jason Derulo Colors.jpeg shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. CUPIDICAE💕 01:30, 11 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please also stop being so careless. This edit was restoring vandalism - twice, after you were informed. IPs are not wrong just by virtue of being ips (or new editors.) You also inappropriately exported yet another logo that is definitely not pd-simple. Please read the relevant policies before continuing down this path. CUPIDICAE💕 13:10, 11 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
And to clarify, my request is that you stay away from files. CUPIDICAE💕 13:13, 11 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically Disney Junior, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. The reason for the removal of the image is it has no source information as to a URL, which is required by our WP:FAIRUSE guidelines, and that we always prefer SVG files over PNGs. Please stop adding the image. Nate (chatter) 20:51, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

This is not the way to settle a dispute. The SVG is properly licensed. Knock it off, or you will face a block. Nate (chatter) 20:55, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
