Hi: Your (I think) recent edit at Art Deco, part of which was ," Kyle Block, a city storefront in downtown Beaumont is regarded by some as one of the finest examples of Zig-Zag Art Deco architecture in Texas." sort of begs the question, "Who are these "by some" that you refer to?" You really need to footnote or source such opinions. Please. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 22:23, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Garbagecansnow.JPG edit

I'm glad to see you adding and improving the many Beaumont-related articles. Keep up the good work! --nsaum75¡שיחת! 03:21, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I too am glad to see you adding and improving Beaumont related articles. ThomasHorn7 (talk) 15:39, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am inclined edit

to remove your Beaumont TX buildings from the Art Deco article because that article is concerned with art deco as a whole and the architecture setion is - or should be - about the examples that are of world class stature. Your ones are nice regional examples but don't really add much to the article. Perhaps a list of surviving art deco buildings should be started? Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 21:28, 24 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've been looking at some of your othre edits and am inclined to change my opinion about the above remerk, or as Gilda Radner used to say, "Never mind." Carptrash (talk) 21:40, 24 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Herring Coe edit

Hi Regrothenberger! Stumbled across your contributions more or less at random and I wonder, I wonder, if you know anything about a gentleman named Matchett Herring Coe, an architectural sculptor based in Beaumont for most of his life -- and if you don't, are you aware of any example of sculpture on buildings around the Beaumont area that you would consider significant or interesting? Grateful for any clues or hints! all best --Lockley (talk) 06:38, 25 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi! and thanks for the answer about Beaumont sculptor Coe. I've updated his page with the two commissions you mentioned (and updated some other Beaumont-related categories too -- you've been very busy and it all looks great). I especially like the county court house with its cowskulls. You mentioned that you know somebody who might know more... please do ask, if you get a chance. My parents lived in Beaumont in the late 1940s so there's a certain element of nostalgia at work here, along with the suspicion that there's a lot more to Coe's career than has been identified here so far. thanks again and all best to you! --Lockley (talk) 04:38, 26 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Beaumontold2.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Beaumontold2.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:18, 14 September 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 08:18, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Calvary Baptist Church (Beaumont, Texas) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Calvary Baptist Church (Beaumont, Texas) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Inks.LWC (talk) 07:21, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Commons photos-Museums and Beaumont homes edit

I also just left this message over at Thomas Horn 7. I don't know which one you are. Maile66 (talk) 15:11, 30 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Do I have this correct that you are Reagan Rothenberger over on Commons? I have been enjoying the beautiful photography. I have a question about the photos of homes in Beaumont. You have them uploaded by files named HistHouse and then a number. Would you mind taking a look at National Register of Historic Places listings in Jefferson County, Texas, and see if any of your photos are these listings? If so, could you please rename the files(s) over on Commons to match the NRHP names? It would be helpful to anyone wanting to create the matching article. Thanks for your attention to this.

Also do you have any photos on Commons that match anything on List of museums in Beaumont-Port Arthur metropolitan area, Texas. Maile66 (talk) 15:05, 30 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Txctyabandoned.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Txctyabandoned.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. De728631 (talk) 16:11, 19 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Century Tower (Beaumont) edit

The article Century Tower (Beaumont) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication this is a historically significant or otherwise notable building. Zero significant prose coverage located on a search.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ♠PMC(talk) 01:35, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
