Your GA nomination of V. S. Srinivasa Sastri edit

The article V. S. Srinivasa Sastri you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold  . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:V. S. Srinivasa Sastri for things which need to be addressed. AfD nomination of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati VII edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati VII. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati VII. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nothing to vandalise. edit

Hi, Your claim that i have vandalised the Madurai page is incorrect. The demographics column had only a few lines with along tabular column of census. To make its look better, i just consolidated the census data. If you need the data of all the census, then kindly make the tabulation horizontal, for the better look & feel of the article.-wasifwasif

Removal of useful content from articles is definitely called vandalism. Yeah, the table could be aligned in a different way. We'll look into it. By the way, removal of census data doesn't help. If you leave the 1871 and 2001 census data alone to remain, the template calculates the percentage population rise between 1871 and 2001 and returns the result-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 13:44, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Namaste! I regret if the timing of my edits on this article has conflicted with your work. I was planning on adding a few more points now but do not wish to interfere with you. Buddhipriya (talk) 06:01, 16 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot! :-) Yes, I think William Reierson Arbuthnot must be notable. Being an MLC itself might make him notable. There is a bio on Pg 29 of this document.-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 10:37, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yeah sure. It looks very well sourced. I'll give it a read over the weekend and try to help out. Dr. Blofeld White cat 17:09, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Intro is done. You may want to fix the red link of the area in the infobox though. I'll read the article tomorrow. Nice work! Now just imagine if wikipedia has a similar quality and sourced articles for all other towns... Dr. Blofeld White cat 19:17, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request edit

Hi Ravichander. Having been inactive for quite sometime, I don't know the currently active editors of TN-related articles. Since I know that you're one of the active editors in TN-related articles (though more interested in politics), I request you to take a look at Puthandu and its talk page. I don't have enough time to look for RS to support other unrepresented POVs. So, I'm handicapped in addressing the issues. Can you please help with that article? -- Sundar \talk \contribs 07:23, 14 April 2010 (UTC) P.S. I don't have much interest in the subject myself, but since the article's currently attracting attention, I thought certain issues need to be fixed. (cc:Sodabottle)Reply

Category:Melakadambur edit

I have removed your CfD tag from Category:Melakadambur, because you didn't make a nomination for it at Categories for Deletion, and haven't explained why you think it should be deleted. If you still want it deleted, merged or renamed, feel free to renominate it. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 20:37, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
