Removing Tags edit

I'm sorry I was harsh on you (calling you a single-purpose account can be seen as an insult, and for that I apologize). The article you were editing had neutral point-of-view concerns long before I saw the article, so the NPOV tag should stay until consensus on the talk page agrees that it's a neutral article (controversial topics like this tend to take a while to settle into a stable, neutral form, and tags like this remind readers and editors to watch for potential biases in the article until they are resolved). However, since I think you've resolved the weasel words nicely, I'll remove that tag.

As for any sort of rule governing tags: editors (like me) will add them if they feel that there is something that deserves attention. Like any other part of the article, you are free to remove tags that are considered (usually through consensus) to be resolved.

Remember: Wikipedia has no deadline, so there's no rush to remove these tags, especially if the article may still have issues. All you have to do is do your best to improve the article :) nneonneo talk 00:11, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
