Your photographs

Hello, Prarun, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for uploading your beautiful photographs of butterflies (Image:Dark cerulean01.jpg, Image:Common crow PRA01.jpg, and Image:Tailed jay PRA01.jpg). These are excellent images and they really improve their articles. I just have two suggestions for you.

First, Wikipedia discourages photographers from inserting their names into the photograph itself, just as we discourage editors from "signing" the paragraphs they write for Wikipedia articles. The image description page is where attribution should be given for images. Please see Wikipedia:Image use policy#User-created images for the relevant Wikipedia policy about this issue. If you have the original butterfly photographs without your name, please upload those, using the same filenames as the photos you have already uploaded (this will replace the existing images). Otherwise another editor will come along at some point and remove your name in some other way, either by painting over the top of it or by cropping the photo. Let me know if you have any questions.

Second, you may consider uploading your freely licensed images to the Wikimedia Commons rather than here at the English Wikipedia. Images on the Commons are available to Wikipedias in all languages, but images uploaded to the English Wikipedia are only available here. Please see Wikipedia:Wikimedia Commons for more information.
