Elizabeth Taylor edit

Hi Paul Smith 132

I noticed that you reinserted, without comment in the summary or the talk page, the {{recent death}} template to the above-captioned article—two edits after I removed it with the summary "rm recent death template--edit frequency no longer indicates inclusion (per Template:Recent death/doc)--25 unique eds in last 12 hours". I have removed it again, as there have been fewer than 50 editors making changes to the article in the past 24 hours. Please review the template's instructions. If you feel it is appropriate to reinsert the template again, please explain why in your edit summary or on the talk page.

I didn't put the recent death template onto that article; check the article's edit history. Paul Smith 132 (talk) 10:30, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think you did, though perhaps unintentionally. Bongomatic 12:27, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I didn't realise that, I only meant to revert the uncapitalisation. Paul Smith 132 (talk) 12:30, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
No worries . . . cheers. Bongomatic 13:03, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge's mother's paternal family edit

Hi Paul:

Sorry about that edit. Is there anything to say about Kate's mother's paternal family? Thanks. Wanderer57 (talk) 14:42, 29 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

There is some info about various relatives, but the media have concentrated on the mother's maternal side because they were coal miners from County Durham, which is a massive contrast to the position Kate is in. Paul Smith 132 (talk) 15:13, 29 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Edit Summary edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Muammar Gaddafi. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Timothy Titus Talk To TT 18:12, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
