Happy New Year!! edit

Hello, Pa7, just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year!! :) Best regards, --Plumcouch Talk2Me 18:43, 1 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Pa7,
thank you so much for the Barnstar. Don't know what to say. *blushes* As for Madhuri: yes, I think she and Aamir would be interesting together - I haven't seen any movie with them as a couple; they've only done two or three together, right? I read (at boxofficeindia.com) that Aamir is in negotiations with Yashraj to do a role in Dhoom 3 - that be awesome - Hrithik Roshan, Aamir & Shahrukh Khan in the same movie. Hope you have a good year ahead too, Pa7, and best regards, --Plumcouch Talk2Me 01:33, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

please don't delete the film career section for Shilpa Shetty. I have tagged it instead for improvement. I would hope that soon it will not only convey the films she appeared in, but actors she has worked with, but far more detail on her film characters, and how she got into the roles etc, directors she has worked under. It is a start and I have started a number of her films to rid of the red links. The film career of most major actors and actresses on wikipedia have started like this and take time to write and develop so please don't delete the foundation. Thankyou. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

howeve rtrivial it may seem it is still her film career. You can't block out the majority of her films in discussion. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:38, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

But I am hoping that this can be expanded - it should give details of notable actors and direcotrs she has worked with how she got into character etc. With her name in the headlines at the moment I don;t think a two line sentence on her career looks good do you? Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

ok but i would like to see it thickened out until you imporve it as you say -then you may take out some of the mentioned films. I would prefer her film career to actually be more knoweldgable than the Celebrity BB section. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:46, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

the film career section now looks much better for Shilpa. It doesn;t read like a who who of every film and covers the highlights of her career nicely. I stil think it needs a bit more detail on certain other films but I'll leave that up to you. Good. All we need now is a wikipedian to snapshot her as she leaves Big Brother for a free image!! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:13, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Although notable roles shuld'nt be opinion they should be films in which she was critcally accalimed e.g the 2000 and 2004 films I think. Film in which she was nominated or won an award should be regarded as notable of her career even if the film wasn't that great! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:16, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK I'd imagine a lot of info is in Hindi if you speak this terrific. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:17, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Good stuff. All the best Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:20, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Shilpa Shetty edit

Hi there, I have responded to your points at the page. It is also unfortunate that I am currently having problems regarding internet connection at home and will have to wait until this is resolved before I can beging a massive cleanup and putting away information into main articles, etc. Anyway I have outlined all these points at the talk-page, please read through it, thanks. Ekantik talk 18:00, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't get it! edit

I don't get it! Preity Zinta can have forty references. An increase in twenty within a week whereas if I add two references on Rani, you delete them. What do you have against her? Just let me put information on the page. Don't remove sections. Why don't you delete the commitment section on Shilpa's page but you delete it on Rani's. If you think it gives a wrong message, then change the message, don't delete it completely.

-- shez 10:47, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Calm down edit

Ok in commitments section, you can have hellen keller institute stuff if not meeting people. And why are you so keen on accentuating failure rather than success. If i write she was no.1 , it's apparently bad, and you add she is a failure, it's good. You're having some jealousy problems. Anyway, I'm keeping commitments without the extra trivia. -- shez 10:47, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fine! Then Be Useful! edit

Look I have nothing against you. Just be useful. If you can source Preity Zinta's info then you can surely do the same for Rani. Don't play games. I know what's your problem! You have been repeatedly crushing over my work. What's wrong with the one of the biggest names, you deleted it twice, meaning you hav a problem with Rani. It's the same phrase as on Zinta's page, just different, I don't want the pages to look identical. Thanks. And do help than create problems. I hope you will source some of the things and add more info cuz the page is bland.

-- Ok I'm sorry! But if you have free time right now, can you add a photo to the intro section cuz it looks empty. If so, make sure it's a recent one and something classy. Thanks. Btw, do you think i shud put references to some of the awards to make them valid.

Stop accusing me of not having a life. Maybe you don't cause you do this everyday. I use this as a past time whenever I'm bored. And if you don't want to help then why are you offering your time to delete. I think you have problems. And please don't verbally assault me. I don't play games with word. If you want to be ***** then be my guest. I'm not like you. And stop saying you don't know Rani, cuz you don't know Preity either but you adore her.

You've been caught! edit

Oh my god! You are a hypocrite. I just went on HDJPK's page and saw Preity's name b4 Rani even though the rules said use imdb format. And i'm not saying you did that but who knows. You edited after the cast name change and neglected that cast change. And if today, I had gone on Veer-Zaara's page and put Rani's name above Preity, you would've instantly changed it. You disgust me. It's a shame. Get a life. Stop defaming Rani just because you have issues.

-- shez 10:47, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Read it urself! edit

"Since when has "your work" been any of my priority. I mean I do have a life and it certainly does not revolve around wikipedia or in your case Rani Mukerji." You clearly imply do your own work. Your life only revolves around Rani. I don't need to take bullshit from someone I don't even know. Anyway, wht about your response to HDJPK page? Are you hiding from it? Y didn't you change the wrong version? And don't make up stories that you were looking for references cuz you clearly said ur priority is not mine, im busy on saif's page. you don't need to look for references. Rani was nominated for GIFA. and lastly, i don't think you wud ever put references unless it's like failure in the case of baabul. Peace out!

Rani Mukerji edit

Hello, Pa7, I understand your problem - and you are not a hyprocrite; you're really a great editor. Problem is, I had an debate with Shez on how to cite cast and suggested IMDb; however, in the meantime, IMDb hasn't become the most trustable source for cast info, as people who have an account there can change things as well. Yet, Shez keeps refering to IMDb. From what I see all his changes have been reverted. If you wish to report Shez, you might go to an admin and tell him/her that Shez is in violation of the No-personal-attacks-policy; however, it'll possibly only result in a warning; and I'm not sure if he'll get banned, as he isn't as active on WP as he used to be. Yet, you can try. My advice: just ignore it and don't be bothered whatever he calls you - I guess, there are lots of fans out there that get grumpy really, really fast and he's one of them. If you need help with anything, don't hesitate and contact me. Best regards, --Plumcouch Talk2Me 15:14, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Shez edit

I think we need to call the attacks to an admin's attention AND we need to do an RFC for Shez. I'm sorry that you bore the brunt of it. I could understand it if I got attacked, because I'm loud and argumentative, but you're so quiet and so industrious -- it's just wrong to attack you. Editors like you are the ones who keep this whole ramshackle enterprise working. My condolences and appreciation. Zora 18:21, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

But I'll have to do it later. I have to go to a zendo quarterly meeting this morning. Zora 18:22, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

People edit

People, stop talking about me behind my back, I don't like this one bit. Confront me please but stop spreading news that I don't know how to talk. Pa_7 was the one who started it and now somehow, it's my fault. Anyway, I have to report this one guy or girl User: 84.229.180.85 has been violating wikipedia rules and regulations. He or she has been adding to the Lux Filmfare Chart which was an old award. He/she believes, female actresses won two years because they were new, a Lux Award and a Debut Award, but mind me, I hav Filmfare '98 and Preity Zinta won a Debut Award, not a Lux Filmfare Award which was last given to Sonali Bendre. Maybe he's confused with the Lux Zee Cine Award. Anyway, just tell him/her he/she is wrong. I've tried. And if I've said anything wrong, I apologize but the truth I was angry because you indirectly accused me of not having a life and you were being mean with my edits which are in no way fabricated. Thanks. -- shez 10:47, 28 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Exchange edit

Hello there. I checked out your talk-page because I wanted to see if you replied on this page to something I said to you a while ago. I couldn't help reading through the exchanges you've had since then with certain other editors and I have to say that you have been treated very badly. I think that, as a Wikipedia editor, you deserve a certain modicum of respect and you haven't been given that as far as I can see. I would strongly suggest you undertake some measures to take care of this situation, as it is better than sitting and taking abuse from people who really should conduct themselves in a better way. I genuinely think that you are well within your rights to report this behaviour if you haven't already done so. Just wanted to be helpful. Regards, Ekantik talk 01:05, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes it was about Shilpa Shetty, hehe. I admire your way of thinking though, "just ignore it". Learnt a few things from Shilpa, have we? ;-) Speaking of which, I just saw this funny article about her in the Guardian (of course I'm keeping a watch for any new info to put on her WP article) and I laughed my head off at the dripping sarcasm. By the way I notice you're from the UK too, how's life in DMU?
About personal attacks, if he does this again and you want to file some kind of complaint I'll be happy to back you up. Ekantik talk 04:22, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

PA_7 edit

I have to say somthing: YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Thanks edit

Thanks for your help on Rani's page. You're coming into your own now. By the way, there's an annoying Preity fan bugging me for no reason. I don't know who it is and I can't get to his/her talk page. Weird! - shez_15

Hi pa_7. I turn to you for a little bit of help & I hope you will answer me the questions. I have 3 questions about Preity Zinta as I see you work frequently on her page.

  • In the film Dil ne jise apna Kahaa, who is the main lead?
  • In the film hero, did Preity has double roul?
  • What Is the real birth year of Preity? 1974 or 1975?

I hope you will hels me because I havent seen the mentioned films. Thanks

PA_7 HI edit

hi pa7! I saw your last edits to the preity zinta`s & rani`s pages, and I wondered why are you so unfair?! you have replaced the word successful by the word popular in Preity`s page, while in rani`s page you haven`t done nothing. you just removed some little things without any importance, leaving the "biggest names" there. As I said repeatedly, Preity is not inferior than Rani in her success status. they both good actresses. as i wrote to shez15, preity has 65% of success while rani has only 57%. thats the reason for which I added the "biggest names" to Preity`s page too.

IF RANI CAN HAVE IT PREITY CAN HAVE IT TOO. so Please I ask you not to remove that. It`s no fair! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.90.236.146 (talk) 11:53, 26 February 2007 (UTC).Reply

Filmfare Awards edit

Hey, I think we should change the dates for the Filmfare Awards. It shows dates of film release not when the award ceremony was held or when the recipient won. It's confusing for some because all other awards are managed how they're supposed to. I'll ask Zora and Plumcouch too. And don't you think this shshsh is a bit obsessive of Zinta? - shez_15

Pa-7 hi edit

I saw what this shez wrote to you about me. It`s not right. He is the obsessive here with Rani. I love Rani too. We were dicussing somthing and the last thing he has done is writing that I`m a loser on his talk page. He has deleted all the things I`ve written to him but you can see that in the history. His way of talking is terrible. he insults me without any reason. Please help me if you can. Shshshsh

Thanks! edit

Thank you very much for your message. It`s very nice from your part. I hope we will collaborate very well together on Wikipedia. Thanks again! Shshshsh

Indian cinema template edit

Hi remember me! Glad we got an image for Shilpa -if you know what I mean! I have created a template for Indian cinema as is standard with all other countries. If you have any ideas for improvement let me know -the template should go at the bottom of all India cinema pages to try to connect a vast project together. I've tried to keep it as small as possible .Let me know if you like it.

Great job! edit

You've done so much. You've done enough. Thanks! - shez_15

Please stop! edit

Rani can have controversy and Preity cannot?! we all know that all those things really happened so please don`t remove it again.

Hello! edit

Hi pa7. I was thinking about the awards look in Preity`s page. It looks a little bit messy. Don`t you think it`s better to organize the awards names as per ceremonies order? It had been looking like this when we got the current look. I`m not doing that because it seems like this in Rani`s page. Just because of the disorder in Preity`s page. send a me message please whether you agree with me or not. Thanks! Shshshsh

O.K, I have already done that. Please, don`t revert my edits because I worked very hard on it. I tried to do it in the most original way I could. Thanks Shshshsh.

Hello! edit

Hello pa7 I`m writing you this message because you have deleted some part of the controversy section in Preity`s page. We all know that this story has really happened. If you want to see it see it in youtube.com. We just have to find a reference for it.

By the way what do you think about the new look of the awards in Preity`s page? thanks Shshshsh

thanks. I`m looking now for a reference. Tell me please, can we use the youtube site as a reference?

so here is the first source 1. This video constitutes the first part of the proof, because there are some parts in the section that don`t appear in the video, so I will search for a bit more.

Let me tell you that you are not right. Rani mukerji has a lot of admiration in her page. nobody wrote there about her disasters (and there are very much of). Preity is a successful actress as well as Rani is. Rani has the yash raj fact, success sentences etc. and Preity cannot?! it`s not fair. I will fight for it. I like very much Rani mukerji but I love Preity more and you & me both know that she is one of the best. It`s not fair from our side to write a negative career information about her. Shshshsh

If you think it`s not right to write about the YRF so remove it from the Rani Mukerji page too. Preity hasn`t done one film with YRF like Kareena and Tanisha. She does every year. She also was the main heroine in a film directed by Yash Chopra for himself, Veer Zaara. Please be fair. Don`t ignore the RM page just because you don`t want to have troubles with Shez. I don`t care what he does or thinks.

and why do we have to write about KKPK? to make her inferior than others?

Why can`t you understand?! the definitely doesn`t look like Rani` page. Just the YRF fact and the success note. There is no other way to write it. Shez for example copied the trivia facts from Preity` page to Rani`s page. those were my ideas and I don`t have any problem with it, because, like I said before, I like Rani too. It is not fair pa_7. Really. Please try to rewrite it if you have a new idea. I don`t.

The problem is that your rewriting is not as well as I exepted from you. First of all, I really appriciate you for your work in WP. you have done a good work along your history. Let me to solve this argument like this: I rewrite the page again, and then you tell me what do you think.

One more important thing: in Rani`s page it is written that she is a major part of YRF. In Preity`s I just wrote that those films marked her entry to the banner. Don`t you differentiate between the two?

I was very tired last night, so I went to sleep without making a change, but some anons made the complete work for me. I think they saw our talk. Now it looks very good. Shshshsh

finally edit

Hello! first of all about the sentence you`ve asked me to leave. Yesterday I didn`t want to touch this page again, but today I thought about that and we can`t leave it. 2002 wasn`t a successful year for her. She had DHT, which was flop. Although people loved her for her role it doesn`t consider as a success. 2003 was a turn round. I removed the the most phrase. I believe she will have more successful years than this. instead of the most, I wrote very. That`s enough.

About Veer Zaara. This film marked her entry to the banner (it wasn`t me who wrote there). We haven`t written she is a major part of it etc. like it appears in Rani`s page. It has really marked her entry to the banner, and there is no importance whether she continues doing films with them whether not (in fact - she does). One more thing is about the highest grossing fact that I have added. VZ was her second highest grossing film in a row. It is a fact and nobody can protest on it. Please don`t remove that.

the finally fact is that all those acievements promoted her as one of the biggest stars in bollywood. in general She is really one of the best. We can`t ignore the fact that her achievements as an actress in 2003\4 established her career. There is no copy from Rani. It`s just the truth. Please try to understand.

I kept the KKPK in 2005 like you wanted. (just removed the disaster. It ruins the page. I think writing "it hasn`t done well at the box office" is definitely sufficient.

OK, now the page is not full of admiration like Rani`s. the 2003 statement is not the same. The YRF fact is different. I hope our argument has come to an end. Thanks Shshshsh

Thnaksss edit

Pa_7, Thank you so much for not reverting my new edits, for correcting the page & accepting my claims and explanations. If I thought that you were a good user, now I think you are way way better. YOU ROCK!!! Thanks again, Shshshsh

Trivia edit

Hi Pa7 I just wanted to inform you about the trivia you have removed from Preity`s page. The one in which you put the fact and the one about the trademark, both of them appear in the IMDB trivia of Preity. Just to note, I will add the sitation for them. About the hair, That`s really funny. How can we find references for something like this? It`s a fact and I think you saw her hair styles in the mentioned films. Is it necessary to show that as a reference? Thanks --Shshshsh 14:07, 27 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't agree! edit

I think polls don't prove brillancy because some readers beg to differ. Plus, who knows? Tomorrow, she will drop in ranking, but it doesn't mean we only put the polls in which she was No.1. That's why it's good to put her history in polls for each year for the Filmfare ones at least. And if there are more important polls they should be listed. That's why I've put trivia and facts apart. And then again, she's been No.1 on rediff polls too for three years but I haven't listed them in writing. I believe a few polls are good enough but to hide the history of some, is not okay. - shez_15
