Dear Olha; expension of articles is always welcome but please be aware of wikipedia's style manual regarding promotion; your edits in PrivatBank do violate those rules (the line "PrivatBank is a socially responsible business" is extremely POV pushing). You ow them money ? Click on the blue words for more information. — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 22:02, 1 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome back on wikipedia edit

Hello Olga Vaganova! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I saw you where active before on wikipedia in 2009 but the tips below might be handy to get the groove back  . Best of luck! — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 22:21, 1 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

If you are interested in Ukraine-related themes, you may want to check out the Ukraine Portal , particularly the Portal:Ukraine/New article announcements and Portal:Ukraine/Ukraine-related Wikipedia notice board. The New article announcements board is probably the most important and the most attended one. Please don't forget to announce there the new articles you create. Adding both boards to your watchlist is probably a good idea. You can also join WikiProject Ukraine, a tool to help perfect the Ukrainian related articles on the English Wikipedia. We would be glad to have you as a member of WikiProject Ukraine!

September 2021 edit

Hello Olga Vaganova. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Olga Vaganova. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Olga Vaganova|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. MarioGom (talk) 11:24, 5 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, MarioGom. Thank you for the discussion. I never did any "black hat" practice, but I actually made some editing for articles of companies where I was working at that time, with purpose of information update. It happened several times long time ago. I understand your message and will put paid disclosure if I will edit any Wiki articles for employers in future.
