Dear Ola.solonenko:

You did indeed find one source other than the company, although it seems that the writer is careful to indicate that most of the information is quoted directly from the company. Please take a look at the page and see how I used that source to back up a couple of pieces of information in the article. Please find some more sources. Ones in which the writers had actually used the operating system and could speak about it with some expertise would be best. If this system has been around so long and used in all of these companies' products, there are bound to be reviews or written discussions to be found.

Also, while you are at it, please look over the article from the point of view of a typical Wikipedia reader, who is not a software engineer and knows little about processors and operating systems. Please avoid as much jargon as you can. For example, you say that the system was "fielded" in 1987. Do you mean that it was developed then? Or sold then? Who developed it?

Here's an example of what I mean:

ultra tiny footprint (smallest system recorded text+data+bss in 1K byte of RAM)

Instead:

The Unison operating system can work efficiently in small devices with tiny processors, because it will run in as little as 1K of ram. (or something similar; I'm not an operating system expert either)

This sounds like a useful product, so I hope that you will keep on working on the article. When you are ready to resubmit, there is a place in the pink decline box to click.

Try taking a look at an article about another operating system, QNX, one that I used years ago. That article has a good mix of references from various sources, and lots of citations in the text. —Anne Delong (talk) 04:37, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
