Re: Wikipoem edit

Using my magic psycic-ness(or maybe just the history page), I'm aware that you have participated in Wikistory. Inspired by Wikistory, I created Wikipoem, which is pretty similar to Wikistory, except that it's supposed to rhyme. I created the game today, and I'm looking for more players to join. Play now! Oddmartian2 15:13, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for telling me about it! I like the idea a lot, and I am proud to be the author of the second word of the poem! ^^ I proposed something on the talk page of the Wikipoem, you might want to check that out. Zouavman Le Zouave 15:34, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your addition! I liked your idea, and I decided to use it. Oddmartian2 15:42, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Wikipedia! the Musical edit

A tag has been placed on Wikipedia! the Musical, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Slp1 22:02, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia! the Musical was created as a Wikipedia game, not as an article. Anyway, I moved it to my User Page. The original page may be deleted. Oddmartian2 22:11, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

RE: LoCE edit

Unfortunately I am not really active enough on the encyclopedia itself to do this. I don't really have the time :( Thanks for the note though. —Sean Whitton / 18:56, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's okay. Oddmartian2 19:51, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Grammar project edit

Looks very worthwhile. Two issues:

1) The message on LoCE user talk pages, "Billion Dollar Prize Heh heh. Just kidding. I use the "Billion Dollar Prize" head to get the attention of users". This type of technique is very reminiscent of spammers. Most users would read any good-faith message on their talk pages without a deceptive headline. This is unworthy of a worthwhile project.

2) On the grammar project page, Goal #6: "To not argue about styles of grammar". OK, won't argue, but would prefer to avoid split infinitives when the alternative is not awkward. E. g., "Not to argue about styles of grammar". Regards, Unimaginative Username 03:20, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I haven't used the "Billion Dollar Prize" thing lately. It was only a joke, but I've figured it might annoy people anyway. Oddmartian2 12:41, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia: The Movie edit

I didn't edit the anything really, I just made the cast into a table. Anyway, I think your ending... sucks. Sorry. -- Andrew Hampe Talk 17:34, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Stephan Remmler edit

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Stephan Remmler, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Martijn Hoekstra 15:14, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Stephan Remmler edit

Stephan Remmler, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Stephan Remmler satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stephan Remmler and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Stephan Remmler during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Martijn Hoekstra 16:17, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

League of Copyeditors roll call edit

Greetings from the League of Copyeditors. Your name is listed on our members page, but we are unsure how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the League's activities. If you are still interested in participating in the work of the League, please follow the instructions at the members page to add your name to the active members list. Once you have done that, you might want to familiarise yourself with the new requests system, which has replaced the old /proofreading subpage. As the old system is now deprecated, the main efforts of the League should be to clear the substantial backlog which still exists there.
The League's services are in as high demand as ever, as evinced by the increasing backlog on our requests pages, both old and new. While FA and GA reviewers regularly praise the League's contributions to reviewed articles, we remain perennially understaffed. Fulfilling requests to polish the prose of Wikipedia's highest-profile articles is a way that editors can make a very noticeable difference to the appearance of the encyclopedia. On behalf of the League, if you do consider yourself to have left, I hope you will consider rejoining; if you consider yourself inactive, I hope you will consider returning to respond to just one request per week, or as many as you can manage. Merry Christmas and happy editing, The League of Copyeditors.

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Oddmartian2! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
