"short lived aliases"

i know you've been deleting "short-lived" aliases, but i don't think the time frame aspect has to do with the importance of such aliases. for example, that line of reasoning would negate mentioning batman or 'renegade' from dick grayson, ed hood from jason todd, the captain or nomad for captain america, or weapon x for wolverine. all of which held the titles for approximentally a storyline or two, much like superboy's original incarnation as one of the supermen, therefore going by the name 'superman.'

if you disagree, then the above mentioned characters should have their short-lived aliases removed as well. Exvicious 09:37, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

The Notable Aliases section include any significant alternate names that a character has used, like the man without fear for daredevil. I removed the batman, wonder woman, and superman aliases from the tim drake, cassandra sandsmark and superboy (modern age) articles not only because they were old and very short lived aliases (the three were only used for 3 issues (?), and by alternative future versions of the characters), but because they are all names for DC's mayor characters, and someone could get confused reading that stuff.

In other hand, the batman alias for dick is important because he used for over 12 different issues during 1995-96, so it is significant. The 'Renegade' name, however, it is not important since it was aplied for only 2 issues, part of a storyline that is gone, specially with the One Year Later stuff.

The Red Hood for Jason is significant because it's the name that he chose to return, using it from batman #635 to issue #650. He also appeared as the red hood in a batman annual and in an issue of the teen titans. - Neodammerung 22:43, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
