AAB Subscription categories

Hi! I see you added a subscription for India-related topics. Although |subcategories= can work with categories having non-talk page's, it was not originally intended to. The bot will only read the categories directly inside the given category -- that is, read pages from 1 level deep sub-category. So for Category:Rail transport in India it will get the pages from sub-category Category:Railway companies of India, but not from sub-sub-category Category:Locomotive manufacturers of India. This will result in a lot of missed pages. The way it is used is, for example, by specifying |subcategories= to Category:Indian roads articles by importance. This way the 6 sub-categories will be read and all pages included. Unfortunately, the 3/4 of your subscriptions do not use the WP1.0 categorization, so you might consider adding such categorization to the banner. Several times now on templates such as Template:WikiProject Indian roads/Invite and Template:WikiProject Education in India/Invite you have added non-free content only to have it removed again. WP:NFCC #9 is explicit; non-free content may not be used outside of the main article namespace. This includes prohibition of use on templates. Thanks for your message. I would suggest a topic based call for volunteers to help with articles. As for me, my interests lie in indi movies, writers, performers, economy and law. I would be working on the movie pages of Mani Kaul after I am done with the French novel page that I am expanding now. Perhaps we could use the wiki conference to form groups based on topics which would help a a great deal. My experience with an article that I helped reach GA status recently shows that Indian articles rarely use Indian language sources, and instead resort to using questionable gossip sites to source content. I sought help from wikipedians from Tamilnadu, which didn't help me achieve anything, and I instead was at the receiving end of replies like 'My Tamil is damn bad'. Google translator is much helpful than the native speakers, as things stand now. Maybe we can have a talk about this too in the conference, on involving vernacular wikipedia writers in English wikipedia. I went through the topics for discussion submitted for the conference, which were really worrying. We need to have talks on getting content to our encyclopedia, not a speech on Anna Hazare or India's corruption! I assume that you are one of the event organisers. Could you keep this in mind when you screen the topics? How many would be expecting a political bhashan in a wiki meet, not me for sure! KEAM

Now in KEAM i really wanted to bring in Medical and other related article of Commissioner of Entrance Exams Kerala, May be we could create a page like that and move away with KEAM. or merge KEAM to CEE-Kerala once the page is done. KEAM as far as it stands looks good and plus (being a cry baby ) i worked hard on it.

May be we could add the college list from KEAM as its better since it contains college codes and links most colleges.

• Plus, many Private sector engineering college like MBCET do not participate in KEAM, so if you separate the articles, this must be considered.
• KEAM as far i know is to narrow down the works of CEE- Kerala and his jurisdictional powers in Kerala Education

• Lets merge List of Engineering Colleges in Kerala with List of institutions of higher education in Kerala but keep KEAM till we decide to have some thing like this list of non KEAM colleges. The Trouble is most of these colleges may change to accept KEAM or other entrance methods in Kerala.

Hi Naveenpf, Long time. I just wanted to tell you that I have just moved a new article that I was working on from my sandbox to main space, i.e. Risk management in Indian banks. Possible Vandalism

Hey, Naveenpf, I was doing some recent changes patrolling, and this page keeps cropping up a lot. It seems certain non-auto confirmed i.p. addresses keep on changing subtle details. I reverted it back to the last edit by an auto-confirmed user, i.e.User:Jenakarthik. However, another ip address logged a small change in the data of the table. As I am very unaware of the Municipal corporations of Tamil Nadu and I currently don't have the time to read up and confirm as the Wikipedia:India Education Program is dealing with a flood of copyvios tackling which is top priority, I thought you could have a look at it and do the needful. This article requires the expertise of someone who actually knows the data.

Schools in India

Hi. There's not much I can do to help the WP India project. I've been to India and taught in schools and colleges there several times, but I'm not Indian and I don't really know enough about it to write about it or clean up the articles, although I spent around 200 hours cleaning up after the Pune IEP. I have a lot of work too looking after WP:WPSCH. The India project has around 400 members, at WPSCH we have a lot, but they are mostly one-time ediors and there are only about 3 or 4 who are really active to work on the 10,000 schools in Wikipedia! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:41, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

Need some Help

There is article on titled "Separatist movements of India"

There are many un-cited reference given in article and a Pakistani contributor lTopGunl is undoing every change being done to clean up the article. I don't know much about using Wikipedia and you sent me request to join Indian Railway Stub. Please help so that Wikipedia should have authentic articles about India instead of false one.
