The deletion that you reverted wasn't wanton vandalism, it was original research and served utterly no purpose. I raised it in the the talk page ages before i deleted it and no one replied for its inclusion. If you can give me (i.e. the whole of wikipedia) a reason why a paragraph for U.S. Impact of English music is relevant to wikipedia then by all means keep it. But until then I will revert the page back to the edit that I made for fear of un-needed americentrism.

Subramanian Swamy page

Hi,

Shriram, thanks for pointing out the thing that Indic script should not be used in the lead sentence. Does that mean that it applies to article of any person(irrespective of region, state or country).

I have second doubt that Subramanian Swamy's name is spelt most of the time in North Indian media (especially Hindi Media) as Subramaniam Swamy. So is it wrong to mention in the introduction, if yes then can it be put anywhere place in the article. Work2win (talk) 13:58, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

• Yes I have heard that. His name is mispronounced as 'Subramaniam' Swamy, I am not sure if it should be added (as his name is pronounced as Subramanian Swamy). What I believe is that if someone from some news channel mispronounces his name, I don't think the mispronunciation should be supported. I am no expert on this matter. First of all the things that you added viz. the chronology, the etymology were copied from this website

Secondly the copy editing was very bad, use of Mr. Dr. Ms. should not be done and many more. I can't discuss everything. I think you should make a fresh start and discuss it before editing so that the contents that you add will not be against WP:NPOV policy. Have a nice time editing. Hi Sriram,

If that is the case, it has to be mentioned that Wikipidea is giving publicity for only two parties and influencing people's decision by highlighting NDA and UPA. The format of the page has to be changed in such a way that all parties are recognized equally and not by highlighting a few and mentioning others as 'other party', thus giving less importance.
