Hi, glad to see you think "Mistake by the Lake" is an appropriate nickname for Cleveland -- I think it's highly appropriate and a very common nickname for Cleveland. Some of the editors (Ryecatcher in particular) don't like this very common nickname and will remove it, even though they don't edit other cities with "inappropriate" nicknames. Try using this as a reference: http://www.forbes.com/2010/02/11/americas-most-miserable-cities-business-beltway-miserable-cities.html it would be pretty hypocritical of them the object to a source like Forbes.

License tagging for File:NightflightKateMillerHeidke.jpeg edit

Thanks for uploading File:NightflightKateMillerHeidke.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Kylie Minogue singles discography edit

Please do not revert edits unless you fully understand why your edits have been reverted. The Dutch peaks at Kylie Minogue singles discography come from Dutch Top 40, all of which you can find here. The Dutch Top 40 is a sales charts and does not have positions higher than 40. Whereas the peaks from Single Top 100 which are these here are based on Airplay and Sales. For consistency sake, we are to source the peaks to either one. Since the Dutch Top 40 is a sales charts, it is our choice.--Harout72 (talk) 16:42, 1 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Marcy Levy Band edit

The article Marcy Levy Band has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability. Only sources are either about Marcella Detroit or Carlos Guitaros and not about the band.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 16:18, 23 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. noq (talk) 00:33, 24 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Although it truly identifies the VHS, this image is almost similar to the cover art of Hormonally Yours (aside from font positions), violating Minimal usage criterion. Also, the VHS itself cannot be a stand-article because it's non-notable. Shakespears Sister discography edit

Please stop going back and forth with this. Headings are hierarchical and all types of albums should fall under one banner, with subheaders differentiating studio, live, compilations, etc. Please take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Discographies and check the articles shown there that have been promoted to featured. A vast majority of these have albums properly sectioned with subheaders. The other work you've done here is appreciated. For future reference you may want to use a sandbox/subpage and/or make use of the show preview button when overhauling a page so that you do not have many small edits clogging the article's edit history. CSD Declined for Give Me the Money edit

Hi. Just to let you know that I have declined the speedy deletion of Give Me the Money under WP:CSD#A9 as this only applies to recordings where the band/artiste does not have an article on Wikipedia. I see that you claim this is an unofficial recording. If this is the case, then it probably should be deleted (unless there is notability about this album). Speedy deletion nomination of File:MDMadisonsLight.png edit

A tag has been placed on File:MDMadisonsLight.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article ITunes Festival: London 2012 (Charli XCX EP) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A search for references failed to find significant coverage in reliable sources to comply with notability requirements. This included web searches for news coverage, books, and journals, which can be seen from the following links:
ITunes Festival: London 2012 (Charli XCX EP)news, books, scholar
Consequently, this article is about an album that appears to lack sufficient notability. Please see the plain-language summary of our notability guidelines.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. hinnk (talk) 06:03, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of File:MarcellaEltonAin'tNothing.jpeg edit

The file File:MarcellaEltonAin'tNothing.jpeg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Sourced critical commentary not sufficient enough to justify using the cover art; fails to increase readers' understanding of the recording and of the song (WP:NFCC#8)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 10 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
