Welcome! edit

Hello, Marketing SPA, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Shashi Prabhu, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! 10mmsocket (talk) 07:11, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

May 2023 edit

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Shashi Prabhu, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Marketing SPA, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Marketing SPA|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 10mmsocket (talk) 07:34, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Deepfriedokra. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Shashi Prabhu, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:04, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

May 2023 edit

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia because your username, Marketing SPA, does not comply with Wikipedia's username policy. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy, which is summarized below.
Under Wikipedia's username policy, a username should represent an individual person. It should not: represent a group or organization; be promotional; be misleading (such as indicating possession of special user rights, being a "bot" account - unless approved, or implying that the account has any administrative or "moderator" user rights, or any kind of "power" or "authority" over other users); nor be offensive or otherwise disruptive. However, a username that contains the name of an organization and also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87" is allowed, but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company". Among others, the guidance on conflict of interest and the policy on paid-contribution disclosure are relevant.
Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If your username is not in violation of Wikipedia's username policy, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page here: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Thank you. UtherSRG (talk) 10:56, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please be aware that Wikipedia is not a business directory, so a company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:19, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

June 2023 edit

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Panvel railway station, you may be blocked from editing. Your declared COI means you should not be making these edits. Please stop 10mmsocket (talk) 13:30, 1 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

With all due respect. I'm not making any promotional or advertising material edits on Wikipedia. I'm just adding information about the projects our firm has done. Panvel railway station is just one of them. I've also added references for my edits. Please let the edits stay or just give me a why to prove the edits i'm making aren't false. Megh at Shashi Prabhu and Associates (talk) 10:52, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please read and understand the WP:PROMO link.We aren't saying the edits are of false information. We are saying the edits are not aligned with the goals of an encyclopedia and/or that you specifically should not be making them. - UtherSRG (talk) 11:46, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've read and understood WP:PROMO. I just want to add that the architect of the following building or structure is Mr. Shashi Prabhu. For various structures like Wankhede Stadium we can see his name is mentioned. So why can't I add the architect information for his projects like Panvel railway station and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium? Megh at Shashi Prabhu and Associates (talk) 12:00, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Why don't you just stop editing Wikipedia articles? If you want to suggest updates then add a new section on the talk page with your suggestion. It is way more likely that your edits will get added this way. 10mmsocket (talk) 17:40, 5 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okey sure, I've done that

Also, I wanted to add Mr. Shashi Prabhu's image to the article any help on how can I? Megh at Shashi Prabhu and Associates (talk) 05:01, 6 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
I mean to say his image on his article itself Megh at Shashi Prabhu and Associates (talk) 05:02, 6 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
