My Wikipedia experience

Good question. First, you should try discussing the matter with the person on his/her talk page – it could just be a big misunderstanding. If that doesn't work, you can bring the matter to the attention of admins and other experienced editors here. Truth be told, I am rather dull, I could probably put a glass eye to sleep. I see that you speak German, thats my second language, I grew up where English was not my primary, but, time changes, as do people and culture. That's great! If you're interested in doing more to mentor newcomers, there's the Feedback Dashboard, where feedback from new users is posted in a live updating queue. Some of the comments are... erm.... less useful than others, but it's a fairly accurate snapshot of what people are feeling as they make their first few edits to Wikipedia and a good place to intervene with help directly. There's also the Teahouse, a new user help space moderated by experienced Wikipedian "hosts." I think you're more than capable of jumping in and lending a hand on either of those pages :)

As for the talkback template, if you'd like to send someone to a specific subsection of your userpage, you can do so using the pound sign (#) and the name of the subsection, like this: {{talkback|Gareth Griffith-Jones#Regarding the edit on Preferans}}. Hi! Good of you to respond so quickly. I had not heard of Feedback Dashboard and will check it out. Got a little involved with Teahouse answering questions posed in its early days, but on a casual basis and have received a thank you from Sarah, and now currently a request to complete a questionnaire as an "established editor", which I am happy to do. However editing articles is my first love. I am now going to discover the {{whisperback}} template.
