You said "It's been mentioned on Fenerbahce.org that Aragones and Emre signed for the club" in an edit summary to the Fenerbahche article. WP:VERIFY says "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth—that is, whether readers are able to check that material added to Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source, not whether we think it is true. Editors should provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is challenged or is likely to be challenged, or the material may be removed.". So if the website says he has signed (not will sign, but has signed) then the onus is on you to provide an appropriate citation. A citation from an independent verifiable English-language source will carry more weight. If you look at Emre's own article, the latest info is that the transfer is on-hold. Neither BBC Sport or Sky Sports (two good reliable sources) have confirmed that the transfer has yet been concluded. Cheers. DrFrench (talk) 20:57, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
