Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Chamoquemas". The reason given for Chamoquemas's block is: "Disruptive editing".

Decline reason: Now blocked directly -using the same computer and IP as other accounts. TNXMan 13:48, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

It's interesting that Chamoquemas was blocked for edit warring on articles about Hugo Chavez, and you have "Chavista" as part of your name. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:40, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Chamo is Venezuelan for dude, and the entirely different lolchavista is what half the Venezuelan populace does when they read articles about Chavez. Be that as it may, the two names have zero resemblance and you are honestly making yourself seem sophomoric by making allegory where there clearly isn't any. Perhaps you should refrain from commenting on Spanish infused nomenclature, or at least educate yourself on the regions to which the names clearly pertain. I don't even have a desire to edit Chavez's articles I was looking at soccer players. But looking at the article I see why Chamoquemas edited warred with rd232, who clearly is managing other Chavez sites.

Decline reason:

Blatant falsehood; evidence is quite unambiguous that this is inappropriate abuse of multiple accounts. --jpgordon::==( o ) 14:30, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I did not suggest anything about the meaning of "Chamoquemas" and did not claim that the two *names* are in any way similar. I merely pointed out that Chamoquemas was editing articles about Hugo Chavez (from an anti-Chavez POV) and that you also appear to have an anti-Chavez username. Of course, it might just be coincidence that the two of you are posting from the same IP, but I think it is something that a reviewing admin should take into consideration -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:57, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh, and the fact that you are both using the same computer does make it seem unlikely that you don't know each other. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:58, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

From what I saw several months ago, that site was a rats nest that even Jimmy Whales commented was a mess and filled with crap, so I find it strange that anyone editing it would be could even be characterized as 'anti-Chavez' POV. Be that as it may, the man is disliked around the world and hated in Venezuela, and you think your commentary is actually valid, like you've made some uber-curious hypothesis that two Venezuelans' might not approve of Chavez. That's fascinating. I've never expressed any dislike of him on wiki, so your assertions are kind of sad.

IP addresses are not the same they are within the same range. This conversation is finished, as hilarious as it is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LolChavista (talkcontribs) 14:08, 5 June 2012‎

When you say "IP addresses are not the same they are within the same range", how do you know what IP address Chamoquemas used? But you should read what TNXMan said, above - TNXMan has access to CheckUser tools and has determined that you are "using the same computer and IP as other accounts". And this isn't about Chavez himself (personally, I think he's a dangerous idiot), it's about two users who claim not to know each other despite circumstantial and technical evidence to the contrary. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 14:27, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have revoked your ability to edit this talk page, as this account is a blatant sock of User:Chamoquemas -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:17, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
