Speedy deletion nomination of WOW Hits 2010 edit

A tag has been placed on WOW Hits 2010 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Removing Speedy at WOW Hits 2010 edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with WOW Hits 2010. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 22:42, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Wzbd.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Wzbd.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 23:02, 9 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. snigbrook (talk) 23:02, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Short articles edit

Hello. Please refrain from writing too-short articles with no references since they create an enormous amount of work for other editors. It's up to you o create a good, useable stub article right out of the box. Doesn't have to be feature-quality, but it does need a minimum amount of info. Please review WP:YFA. Thanks. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:05, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to California State Route 60. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Falcon8765 (talk) 01:30, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Two things: First of all, please do not ever come onto my talk page or that of any other user with an attitude. Second, there are some rule of inclusion and standards which we expect all users to uphold. In short, if you're going to write a stub, please follow the guidelines at WP:STUB. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:32, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

PS: IF you ever blank content like you just did in order to be disruptive, you will be blocked. FYI, I created that article with quite a bit of useable content. Feel free to review the edit history. PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:32, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

The recent edit you made to California State Route 60 has been reverted, as it removed all content from the page without explanation. Please do not do this, as it is considered vandalism; use the sandbox for testing. If you think the page should be deleted, see this page for instructions. Thank you. Falcon8765 (talk) 01:34, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to California State Route 60. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 01:35, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to California State Route 60. Falcon8765 (talk) 01:36, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

You aren't deleting anything. You're blanking the page and if you do so again, I will block you. FYI, the article isn't "mine." No article belongs to any one person. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:36, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Articles for deletion nomination of WOW Hits 2010 edit

I have nominated WOW Hits 2010, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WOW Hits 2010. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. — dαlus Contribs 02:52, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

WMRI edit

Radio station logos are an important part of a station's history. When a logo changes along with an ownership change or format change, rather than deleting it from the article's infobox, please move it to the relevant history section in the article. If no history section exists, consider creating one. The newspaper article you are likely using to reference the format or ownership change you are documenting in the article will probably have some history information worth including so its a good time to do that. For more information see Wikipedia Project Radio Stations.--RadioFan (talk) 11:42, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
