There's a bloody good reason it isn't transcluded - it should've been done and dusted six months ago! I intend to edit {{DYKsubpage}} so that some egregiously old ones show up more quickly: Technical 13, I believe there is some way of subtracting the last few characters from a parameter (i.e. subtracting " 2014" from "June 2014" or selecting only the last few characters from it (i.e. "2014"), what am I on about?--Launchballer 20:01, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

Walking Down Madison

Hi! Pleased to see someone expand this article, it was quite a way down my to-do list! I wonder if you could possibly clarify the chronology, though. You wrote that Johnny Marr had just come away from The Smiths - which I would interpret as August 1987, meaning that the song in some form pre-dates MacColl's 1989 album "Kite" (to which Marr also contributed) and was held over. It makes sense, given that had MacColl not already had "dibs" on it, it would probably have ended up as an Electronic track instead, I just wondered if you could confirm that? -- Walnuts go kapow (talk) 11:04, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

I've just commented on a couple of the reviews and superseded their ticks, as they only seem to mention newness, length, and hook sourcing. None of the Within policy criteria have been mentioned, and they must be: neutrality, overall article sourcing, and close paraphrasing/copyvio. There also is no comment on the submitted QPQ, nor on whether the submitted images are free and actually in the nominated article. I'm also wondering what the issues were with the QPQ check in the DYK toolbox that left you unable to determine whether a QPQ was required. It isn't always accurate, but a check through the talk page archives for the main-page-appearance notification can help settle the question. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:23, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

You're right - it didn't. However, I believe that the best procedure in these circumstances is to guess - Wikipedia is a work in progress, and although it may well be the case they have a different game for each scenario, I doubt the rules would be that complex for a show that has only been commissioned for 10 episodes (Loose Women and Tipping Point summer replacements Guess This House and Happy Campers were commissioned for 25 and 30 episodes).
