Welcome! edit

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, JonoPSA! I have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! --Flex (talk/contribs) 03:03, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Flex edit

Thanks very much for the welcome, sorry I didn't reply earlier but I'm new to this Wikipedia thing and didn't really understand how the whole "talk page" thing worked - hope this works, though. Perhaps you can tell me how to sort my talk page, join different Wikipedia groups, that sort of thing.

I see from your talk page that you're into theology and stuff - pretty cool, so am I!

Anyway, thanks for your offer to help, I appreciate it. Please shout if you have any advice! Chat soon! JonoPSA (talk) 18:38, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Help Me Question edit

Could you help me with joining Wikipedia groups, sorting my Talk page and my User page out, just general stuff in joining the Wikipedia community? Thanks

Being new can be confusing. There is a lot of information to find and absorb. I would suggest looking into getting addopted. Go to Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user. Once adopted someone can help you navigate Wikipedia. I will also leave my welcome message below which has a lot of links. Cheers GtstrickyTalk or C 14:37, 15 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Christianity newsletter: New format, new focus edit

Hello,

I notice that you aren't currently subscribed to Ichthus, the WikiProject Christianity newsletter. Witha new format, we would be delighted to offer you a trial three-month, money-back guarantee, subscription to our newsletter. If you are interested then please add your name tothis list, and you will receive your first issue shortly. From June 2013 we are starting a new "in focus" section that tells our readers about an interesting and important groups of articles. The first set is about Jesus, of course. We have also started a new book review section and our own "did you know" section. In the near future I hope to start a section where a new user briefly discusses their interests.--Gilderien Chat|List of good deeds 20:57, 17 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

World Digital Library Wikipedia Partnership - We need you!

Hi JonoPSA! I'm the Wikipedian In Residence at the World Digital Library, a project of the Library of Congress and UNESCO. I'm recruiting Wikipedians who are passionate about history & culture to participate in improving Wikipedia using the WDL's vast free online resources. Participants can earn our awesome WDL barnstar and help to disseminate free knowledge from over 100 libraries in 7 different languages. Multilingual editing encouraged!!! But being multilingual is not a necessity to make this project a success. Please sign up to participate here. Thanks for editing Wikipedia and I look forward to working with you!
