2010–11 Premier Reserve League edit

In future, please make sure you are editing the most recent version of the reserves page. Your most recent revisions could be construed as vandalism because they made a total mess of the Northern Section A league table. Bealzbob (talk) 11:03, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

2010–11 Fußball-Regionalliga edit

When working on tables like you did in 2010–11 Fußball-Regionalliga, can you please check the end result of your edit before saving? Small and seemingly insignificant changes like spelling align center as align centre and ommitting lines like | damage the tables and make them unreadabe. It's a good idea to use the show preview button first to check that everything works out. It can be a bit tricky to learn! Welcome to Wikipedia, Calistemon (talk) 19:10, 8 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

{{goal}} and others edit

Thank you edit

I really appreciate your help in updating the Tercera División article, but please leave groups III, IX and XIII with the retired team with 38 matches as in www.futbolme.com Apart from that, great job and many thanks! Qampunen (talk) 21:16, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so mucho for your help. It would be great if you could help me during weekends, when possible. Fantastic job! Qampunen (talk) 23:27, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your reply. I have now updated all the matches for the Tercera División this weekend. I am willing to help you update the games most weekends when possible. Jolley2662 (talk) 23:54, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much for helping (I had no Internet yesterday). Do not worry, I will complete groups 3, 9 and 13. Qampunen (talk) 22:51, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks and tip edit

Hey, thanks for helping with the updates to 2010–11 Northern Premier League, saves me from having to do it, but in future would you be able to leave the edit format (i.e the spacing) as it was previously, as although it has no actual effect on the outcome on the article, the next time someone comes in to update the table, the edit format is in a mess. It's simply a case of keeping the }} and | symbols pretty much aligned on similar lines by using spaces. Just thought I'd give you that tip so the edit format remains tidy and easy to use :) Thanks again. Delusion23 (talk) 12:07, 16 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Another tip edit

Make sure you use {{ }} curly brackets not parentheses (( )) in tables or they don't work. Thanks. Delusion23 (talk) 13:51, 20 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

PDL Standings edit

Welcome to wikipedia. As an FYI - it is easier to move the entire row when updating the standings rather than retyping text in the row. That way you only need to update the Wins-Losses-Ties-GF-GA and place numbers and not the names of the teams - This allows the formatting to be aligned so it can be more quickly checked against the standings page published by the USL. --Trödel 16:15, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you edit

I used to update Spanish football for 5 seasons but I don't have as much time as I used to, so I can only update Spanish football when possible. I see you have been updating Tercera División which is quite a tough task to do during weekends (I can tell from my own experience :) ). Would you like me to do 9 groups so that we do 9 each? This would take away work from each other and would make the updating very quick (nobody else wanted to help me during these last 5 years which is understandable!). Thank you for updating the Segunda División B and Tercera División! It is very satisfying to know that someone else can update the Tercera (fantastic job). Qampunen (talk) 10:50, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Would you like us to do 9 groups each on Saturdays and Sundays? You tell me what groups you want (I personally like groups 9 and 10, but I don't mind). Many thanks! Qampunen (talk) 13:25, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Championnat de France amateur 2 standings edit

I don't know what sources you use to get the standings for the 2011–12 Championnat de France amateur 2, but, if you edit the standings again in the future, please use the French Football Federation sources. They are right below the league tables and are the first option when updating the standings. If the source you use differ from the federation's table, then use the federation's table. I don't want to constantly come to the article and correcting your errors, which I have just now done. The same applies for the 2011–12 Championnat de France amateur article. — JSRant Away 18:29, 10 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Link to disambiguation pages edit

I have no problem with the articles about the running soccer season. But I do have a problem with the many links to disambiguation pages you leave behind after the update. Could you take care of solving them yourself? The article about Grimsby has now 22 links, the article about Mansfield Town 19 links... Night of the Big Wind talk 14:01, 21 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Scottish Season Pages edit

Hello there, thank you for your contributions but unfortunately here at Wikipedia we don't have intellectual property rights to future league fixtures. Rather then your good work going to waste I hid this weekends fixtures that you added rather then deleting them. However if you continue to add future league fixtures I will have to revert your edits as weren't suppose to even store them electronically. If you wish you can read this past discussion at WikiProject Football which will explain it.

On a related topic, you changed Dumbarton's current season to the collapsible footballbox format which I don't have an issue with in fact I was planning to do so myself like I did with Cowdenbeath. However while you were changing the format you deleted 16 of the completed league fixtures. If you want to changed the format & take a break mid way through which is completely understandable you should leave the fixtures which you are yet to modify in place rather then then deleting them. So therefore I had to revert your edits. I really hope you don't take this message in the wrong way, I would really appreciate your help in updating the season articles as User:Edinburgh Wanderer & myself have to do the majority of them. Regards ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 22:21, 24 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for all support i didn't know about the scottish league fixtures but thank you for telling me about this so i know in the future. I perfer to use the footballbox format to football fixtures due to it looking better altogher. thanks again for all your support in helping me with football editing fixtures. User:Jolley2662 23:15. 24 January 2012. Would u like me to update the english football league fixtures instead in the future.

The correct answer is no. - Dudesleeper talk 23:04, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
feel free to update the scottish pages its no problem and appreciated. However we can't show fixtures that haven't happened yet we need a licence to do that and Wikipedia does not have one. In regards to dumbarton its no problem to change the template it just needs to be all done rather that left half done. Edinburgh Wanderer 22:22, 25 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I changed the format of Celtic today to footballbox now it has changed back to it's orginal format. do u have any understanding on why it has changed back to the orginal format. thanks for your comments. User talk:Jolley2662 19:40 26 January 2012

If your going to update season pages you must do the stats as well if you don't it's pointless because someone has to come along & do the stats then. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 13:44, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
What part of my above message didn't you understand by only doing the results your misleading readers. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 14:14, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

CFA goalscorers now edit

Can you please stick to the sources that are in the articles when editing the 2011–12 Championnat de France amateur top goalscorers section. I don't know where you are getting your statistics from, but they don't comply with the sources and it is getting extremely agitating having to constantly look over your edits for errors. You also do this with the standings in the 2011–12 Championnat de France amateur 2 article even after I discussed that with you last November. — JSRant Away 00:33, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Soccerway football stats edit

First of all, thanks for your work on the Real Sociedad 11-12 season page. I've notice that you use soccerway.co.uk for creating match reports on wikipedia. Is there a way of converting this data into wikipedia stats easier than the 'traditional method'? Judging by the amount of work you've done on this there must be. Thanks again.--Txuriurdin (talk) 18:27, 17 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of 2013 Östers IF season edit

The article 2013 Östers IF season has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Missing lead. Add categories & references. More prose needs to be added.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Season Articles edit

Whilst i appreciate you creating season articles on Scottish Football there is a standard that they should be and the ones you are creating are no where near. First of all all articles should have sources, text even info boxes and yours have nothing other than templates. This‎ should look like this even in its early form and when you create these articles you must be able to commit to updating them for the entire season.Blethering Scot 18:57, 15 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
