Speedy deletion nomination of Casually edit

Hello John Ozyer-Key,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Casually for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. --MrScorch6200 (t c) 18:14, 12 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Julie Vaughan edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Julie Vaughan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Speedy deletion of "The Stinkalinks" edit

A page you created, The Stinkalinks, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a band or other musical group, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for musical groups in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Proposed deletion of Emily Forrest edit

The article Emily Forrest has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. • I've blocked you for 24 hours because you seem to have a pattern of making disruptive edits and your recent-ish article Christmas with the Broons was kind of an example of this. While there is an album by that name, the album listing was completely made up. I also noticed that you'd created at least one other article that was deleted as a hoax (Cocker's Creek). I'm also concerned that a few of the other deleted articles were possible hoaxes as well, such as The Stinkalinks. I can't find any mention of this group anywhere, which means that it's either a very, very obscure garage band or it's a complete hoax. The same thing pretty much goes for the other pages you've created, as I can't find any record of an actress by the name of Julie Vaughan or Emily Forrest. However since most of your edits have been beneficial, I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and only block you for a shorter period of time. Please understand that if you are creating hoax articles, continuing to create them will lead to a permanent block. If by chance these are just exceptionally obscure people, please be more careful in the future when creating articles and try to not create articles unless the individual passes our notability guidelines because it really does come across as you creating hoaxes. The block will be up soon and if by some chance all of the edits are purely accidental, please see this short block as a bit of a warning to be more cautious about editing habits.
