Hi - I see you are working on the same article in your sandbox. Did you mean to create it in the main article space already - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loud,_Proud_%26_Heavy:_The_Very_Best_of_Uriah_Heep - if it was an accident we can have it quickly deleted so you can continue to develop it in the sandbox. Let me know (you can reply right below here). Thanks.  7  23:09, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Uriah Heep; Loud, Proud & Heavy . . .
I am new to this !
It is OK as far as I know but I am not sure how to include the reference to the CD

No problem - let's keep the discussion here on your talk page as it is much easier to follow. Give me just a few seconds and I'll clean up the page you are working on in your sandbox. Thanks.  7  23:25, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Okay - I have cleaned it up a bit - you can see some of the tricks with numbers and formatting in the edits. Can you tell me what reference you would like to add and I can help you format it. If you would like to try it yourself you can review Citing sources. Feel free to reply right below here, and add an extra colon ":" in front of each reply to indent on level further (helps for readability). Thanks.  7  23:32, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Uriah Heep CD ref

edit

Thanks. the ref is to a CD box set by Union Square Music c2007 cat # METRTCD828

Is this sufficient? I'm going to need to read up a bit more I see ! Cheers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jhandlc (talkcontribs) 23:36, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Let me see what I can do. Do you happen to know of any sources which discuss the box-set in detail (for example a review from a well respected publication)? Thanks. (Also - please reply right below here - on your page, rather than my page - just hit the edit button at the top of this page)  7  23:41, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
OK - I'll see what I can find. Is this OK? Jhandlc (talk) 23:45, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yep - I'll add it in - remember to add an extra colon to each level of reply to indent one more time (this reply has three colons).  7  00:17, 12 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ok - I think it may be ready for moving to the main space - if you think it looks good let me know and I can move it for you (and you will retain credit as the article's creator). Also - per the references - the correct naming will be Loud, Proud & Heavy: The Best Of Uriah Heep - so I'll move it there. Sound good?  7  00:25, 12 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Loud, Proud & Heavy: The Best of Uriah Heep

edit

It's done - please make future edits there. Also - if you want to keep working on it I just noticed the standard used in some of the other articles and found this guideline which says that in addition to the track listing (which should be in quotes) we should also list the writer of the song as well as the time of the song. Do you want to take a stab at making those changes? Thanks, and keep up the good work.  7  01:08, 12 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
