Please note that just because the photo comes from a government website does not automatically mean it's in the public domain — if you check the copyright statement on the Manitoba government's website, it's quite clear that it's not public domain, but permits reuse of its content only in non-commercial contexts. Wikipedia, however, is not a non-commercial use, so we can't use their photos of MLAs. Bearcat (talk) 17:15, 3 December 2019 (UTC)
