notability edit

The general concept is of Notability on wikipedia is discussed in the policy here, and some more details of how this applies to martial arts related topic are given here. Generally if some one is only notable in realation to a spesific event then they shoudl be covered in the event article, in this case Model Mugging. Hope that helps a bit

Kidpower edit

With regard to moving the Kid power article a 'Hat note' helps people navigate and KIDPOWER should just redirect to Kidpower to move the article the self-defence program should be as notable as the toy maufacturer, I don't know either well so couldn't comment on spesifics without a deeper look, but to do so ther is a 'move' tab at the top of a page, more detials are at Help:Moving a page, The Kidpower power page can then be made into a WP:Disambiguation page. Drop me a message if you need more help --Nate1481 10:53, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Kidpower website is a primary source so it can be used with care. secondary sources are better, but not always possible, using the site for things that are relatively uncontentious such as who runs the organisation etc is fine, using it for info that could be viewed as promotional, such as how wide spread and the number of clubs, or claims of effectivness is probably not. Hope that helps --Nate1481 08:36, 29 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
