- Since you have stated you have a conflict of interest it would be best for you to thoroughly read over the conflict of interest policy, paying particular attention to this section: WP:COIC, where you are given guidance as to how to propose changes to articles you have a conflict of interest on. My talk page is not the best place for you to ask for any changes. I suggest you use the article talk pages so multiple editors can see your proposals and comment on them. There is more detail about how to do this most effectively here: Wikipedia:Coi#How_to_avoid_COI_edits. You may also be interested in utilizing the conflict of interest noticeboard. As noted on that noticeboard, "COI affected editors may use this board to get help with proposed article changes. sorry i made a change to one of the articles after you told me not to, but then i realized idid it, it was an accident, and i changed it back, i saw it said a referance was needed so i was goingto add a source, but then i remembered you told me not to so i will just leave it alone. all facts are varifiable on google news archives.

Edith Flagg edit
It is not enough to say that there are many articles about her in the Los Angeles Times. You need to add those newspaper articles to the Wikipedia article as references. -- Eastmain (talk) 04:39, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
how do i go about do that, there are 130 articles but they are all archived and you can only view them if you pay per article. i do have all the original copies though, i can scan them and send them to you, otherwise the editor has to just go to google archives and look, in my articles i have referenced many of the articles, if i give you the article name, can you look at them, i can direct you to the page, but to open the page you have to be a member of la times or yu have to pay to view each article.
- If there's information in the articles which somehow shows she was notable, did something important, talks a lot about her, etc, then all you need to do is quote the information, or mention what it says in the AfD or in the article or its talk page, and give a URL or the title / date etc of the article , so someone could track it down in theory. If you have a bunch of articles in hard copy, should be easy to pick out the best refs.John Z (talk) 10:53, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Ben Platt came to the United States in 1905 when he was only 20 years old. He was born in a small town near Kiev, Russia. He started his career as a salesman in New York, for the Singer Sewing Machine Company. He moved to Los Angeles later that year and started The Platt Music Company, which he began by selling pianos door to door. By 1926 Platt Music’s annual sales volume was in excess of $3,000,000 and the companies total assets were approximately $2,700,000. Platt owned three buildings on Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. 620-622 Broadway (next to the Orpheum Theatre) , 830 Broadway, and 840 Broadway. Lange and Bergstrom were the contractors for 840, and Walker & Eisen was the architectural firm. By 1928, Platt Music was called one of the largest retailers of it’s kind in the world. In 1929, the Stock Market Crashed and Platt Music went into receivership. Because of Platt’s good relationship with Tom May of the May CO., Platt rebuilt Platt Music to be bigger than ever. Platt Music contracted with the May CO. to sell appliances in all of their stores. Ben Platt, while known greatly in the business world, was most known for being a humanitarian and philanthropist. PLatt was one of the founders of The City of Hope, and was active on his board for many years. he was the President of the Jewish Home for the Aging, and was one of the founders of the University of Judaism, now the American Jewish University, He was also the first executive vice president of the UJ. Platt was the president of Sinai Temple for 21 years, the longest president to date. Platt was active in Masonry, a member of Westgate Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rites and the Al Malaikah Temple of the Shrine. By 1955, Platt Music was the largest retail business of its kind in America. Platt was honored at the Ambassador Hotel in 1955, on the anniversary of his 50th year in business. Some of the biggest names in Los Angeles attended this event. Platt died at 77 at Cedars Hospital on Monday April 18, 1960. Edith Flagg and the Platts edit
Hello. I have added more inlined references to Edith Flagg's article. I've noticed your note on the talkpage, and I think more referenced info about her philanthropic work would be good. Do you have access to specific articles that I could look at please? Moreover, do you have a copyright-free picture you could upload to Wikimedia Commons so that it can be added to her page please? I've just read about her inspirational life journey in The Beverly Hills Courier, and I think it would be good to expand her page, but I am a stickler for inlined references (otherwise, anybody could add anything and it could all be untrue). I also think there is a bit of a problem with the 'further reading' section: it is too long, and unclear. If those are references that could be used to improve the article, then it would be useful to do so. If they are articles she wrote, it should come under a 'bibliography' section. My impression is that there is both here, and that should be fixed. Now, I will also try to improve Herman Platt and Benjamin Platt with inlined references in the next few days. They sound like fascinating philanthropists, and the connection with the American Jewish University is very interesting to me. Thank you for your work and let me know if/how you could help please.
