Welcome edit

Hello, JANAE2290 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Dr Aaij (talk) 19:18, 9 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

DYK nomination of Mary Ivy Burks edit

Hello! Your submission of Mary Ivy Burks at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. DYK for Mary Ivy Burks edit

On 16 March 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Mary Ivy Burks, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Mary Ivy Burks has been called the "mother of Alabama wilderness"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Mary Ivy Burks. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Mary Ivy Burks), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

  • I saw your review of that banana pasta submission. I can't really tell how much you did, since the level of detail in your comments was very low. Besides, it had already been reviewed and marked to go on to the front page. The other thing is that the article needed some tweaks--look at this. On the other hand, you were on the front page and you had 1600 hits, so that's pretty cool. Go write another article. Dr Aaij (talk) 15:27, 18 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

That one edit, that's the only one in the last three weeks. You are not going to pass if you don't pick up the pace. Dr Aaij (talk) 01:30, 10 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

April 2017 edit

Hello, I'm KGirlTrucker81. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Southeastern Community College v. Davis, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 14:28, 30 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
