Pope John Paul II edit
- Hello Ithillion, We are looking for help on the Pope John Paul II article in order to improve it and raise it to ‘Good Article’ and eventually ‘Featured Article’ status. So, I though I would invite you to take a look. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I saw that you added a section there about the Holy Face Association. That association needs its own page and is not appropriate or relevant to include society descriptions within other pages. Please move your edits to a separate page and create a link if that new page survives notability as in A7. Given that that website allows credit cards, that may be a problem. Time will tell. Thanks. - Hi, yes, but that was "exactly" my point. Items that do not merit a page on their own, are not allowed within Wikipedia to piggyback on other pages. Hence that item will have to be reverted, until you create a page for it. And again, given the credi card situation on that organization, it has to be as such. A small link at the end may remain, but my guess is that someone will delete that anyway since it leads to a sales page. You can pick the material up from that page, and try creating a new page. I had to make a page for this, because it is a Rosary based prayer and needs to be on its own like the other chaplets, e.g. Divine Mercy. These pages have been very carefully and neatly laid out and have a general structure, as guided by several sidebar templates.
However, I think you did have good material for your edit to the Servite Rosary. My impression:
- You have good intentions.
- You generally have good material.
- You do need to keeps things more tidy and check the facts.
- You want to promote Roman Catholic issues, but must remember that there is a lot of unapproved material that positions itself at semi-Church teachings, but must be avoided. The internet is full of "wanna-be-cardinals", and they can not be included in Wikipedia until Rome says so.
The point about hypertext in Wikipedia is to have things neatly organized, not lumped together. As for facts, I corrected the origin of the feast to 1413 because it did not originate with the Servite, as the Cath Encyclopedia clearly stated.
At first, I thought the material on Kibeho belonged within the Kibeo page, as the dablink at the top exists. Then I realized that prayer was by a motivational speaker! It had NOTHING to do with Kibeho visionaries, except that she is from Rwanda too and was in the genocide. In general, sites like Mother of all people are not reliable at all. So I moved that to her page. Please do check these sources because it takes effort to clean them up afterwards. I will appreciate your help on this issue.
The Scapular of the Seven Dolours of Mary is one of 18 pages that carefully originate out of the Scapular page. It can get enhanced with the confraternity, but can not be merged, because there is already a carefully and neatly managed scapular fan out structure within the Scapular page.
Generally, I think if you manage to keep things tidy, your contributions to Wikipedia are likely to be valuable. And please allow me to welcome you to Wikipedia. Cheers History2007 (talk) 14:59, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
