I didn't realize tvrage.com had been blacklisted. May I suggest mentioning this in your edit summary? "rm blacklisted tvrage.com" or something like that. Disambiguation hatnotes

Hello. Disambiguation hatnotes at the top of articles are there to resolve ambiguity between very similar names or concepts. Per WP:NAMB, if there's no ambiguity, we don't need a hatnote - if the user has arrived at the Marvin the Martian article, its title alone clarifies that the article isn't about the comic-strip human baby (who isn't a Martian), nor to a less obvious extent is it about the Sirius Cybernetics robot (who isn't from Mars).

The hatnote you've added to Marvin (character) is correct, and appreciated, because a reader who's arrived at that article (or is deciding whether to click the link from another page or a Google search result) will not - from its title alone - know whether it refers to the baby, the android or the Martian, and might be in the wrong place. But Marvin the Martian is, I think, unambiguous.

I am trying to fix the navigation situation with any major character named Marvin. I for some reason remembered the newspaper comic (and starring character) Marvin. I wanted to read the Wiki article about Marvin (Tom Armstrong's character) however I landed on a page about a robot named Marvin. ?! I believe Marvin's (robot) full name (or title) is Marvin, The Paranoid Android. Or perhaps that is the name of the book or TV series the character is based on. I wouldn't know. I have never heard of Marvin (the robot). I am aware that Looney Tunes character is supposed to be named "Marvin the Martian" although I have never heard him referred to as such. It makes much more sense to add the Disambiguation Hatnotes to the relevant pages. And even Martian The Martian's full title reveals him to be a space alien or a Martian, However Marvin Miller's name wouldn't necessarily describe if Marvin Miller is a human or Martian. I guess I still do not understand. ALSO typing Marvin did not lead to a disambiguation page. It SHOULD, as I am completely unfamiliar with Marvin The Paranoid Android. Wikipedia:No_legal_threats#Perceived_legal_threats advises against "making comments that others may reasonably understand as a legal threat." The only use of the word "credible" in the policy is in reference to retracting the threat.

I don't see any stretching involved in interpreting "I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION" and "legal action will be taken" as legal threats. If In Correct would like to credibly retract the threat we can move on. - SummerPhD^v2.0 15:16, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

To prevent damage to the project, this policy removes editors who make legal threats on Wikipedia. I never had such intentions, and I still have absolutely no intentions to "damage the project of Wikipedia". Also, my edits that were reverted are not promotional, but rather acceptable according to WP:USCITIES under Geography and Infrastructure. You must not say those things and I request this: Wikipedia:Contact us/Article problem/Factual error (from subject) may be appropriate. Also, posting on the editor with privileges would have nothing based on the uncivil activity from that editor, so the only area I could find to go do the Administrator's Notice Board or whatever it's called. Furthermore, I was unaware that I was undoing every edit by Magnolia. I was trying to figure out which edit of mine was undone and I was trying to proofread the entire article. Before I could post to the talk page, another editor said I started an edit war, that my edits are being disruptive, saying that everything I typed is "promotional", while the article itself still had promotional wording. • Comment - I very much perceived this edit summary where you said "If this edit is reverted, then this is proof that I am being personally attacked and legal action will be taken"--as a legal threat. I found your edit summary intimidating because you had issued a warning that you intended to take legal action against anyone who reverted your sloppy unsourced edits to Davis, Oklahoma.

• With this edit I removed your excessive details about every road and highway running through or around Norman. Please take a moment to read the policy Wikipedia is not a travel guide. In that same edit you linked Turner Falls five times in the same paragraph. Please read this policy which states "generally, a link should appear only once in an article".
• You reverted this edit where I removed the geo-coordites from the geography section, with the edit summary per WP:USCITIES#Geography. In the guideline it states "if a coordinate (latitude and longitude) is included in the infobox, if there is any, remove any existing article coordinate from this section. There should be only one coordinate relating to the article present".
• Here you changed the size a photo to 300px, while MOS:IMAGES states "as a general rule, images should not be set to a larger fixed width than 220px". In that same reverted edit, you added back the words "nestled" and "Oklahoma" to the photo caption: "Turner Falls, nestled in the Arbuckle Mountains near Davis, Oklahoma". Actually, I would like to put that Retired template on my about me page. I want to clear my About Me page, negative words, and every thing else ... and replace it with the Retired Template. I will not edit nor create articles at Wikipedia. The last edit attempt resulted in confusion, and I panicked. I did not know how to email administrators either. I did not say I have no intention of editing. I will still want to edit my about me page one last time. I see no need to block me, even from my own about me page. If the decision to deny my unblock is based on a subsequent retirement (of which reading the Wikipedia:Retiring is a reason to retire!) I would request my account be deleted.
