Publication of the page in Spanish

Hi,

Thank you for your help. I am actually a professional translator (English-French-Spanish)and I also work in the Biblioteca Cervantina. My translation for this page has been reviewed.

I translated the page into Spanish but I cannot publish it... I tried to create the article but the title would be Biblioteca Cervantina, which is already used for the English version. The English version should be Cervantine Library but I cannot change it.

The page in Spanish should look like that: Could you please help me figuring that out? Our publish the page yourself?

Many many thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MelissaduTEC (talkcontribs) 22:11, 3 March 2016‎

Hello, MelissaduTEC. I appreciate what you're trying to do, but you're not quite in the right place. Each language's Wikipedia is separate and as this is the English Wikipedia, en.wikipedia.org, it should only include pages written in English. The Spanish-language version of this page should go here, at Spanish Wikipedia, es.wikipedia.org. I'm afraid my Spanish skills are best described as "nonexistent"; if you need help with Spanish Wikipedia, I'd suggest asking at the Spanish Wikipedia help desk, here. As for the English language title, I think you're right, it should probably be at Cervantine Library. I'll move the page shortly; your account is too new to do that. I hope this makes things more clear. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 22:26, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Lil JoJo

Hello, Howicus. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Lil JoJo".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 19:49, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

Hi JMHamo. I created that draft at the request of someone on Wikipedia's IRC help channel. Lil JoJo does not seem to be notable enough for an article; I have no objections to a deletion. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 20:04, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

Gladys Hobby, wiki women of science page

Hi Howicus,

The wiki entry for Gladys Hobby is a stub, and that section where I placed her was for expanding stubs of well-documented women, rather than for women lacking a wiki page. Her entry is no longer than the entries for the two women about her and omits details of her contributions. She was an important scientist who was instrumental in producing penicillin for human use and is in the National Museum of Women's History for her contributions. She also was a developer of streptomycin. None of that was in the wiki article, nor was she even listed in the women of science wiki.

Thanks for the welcome.

Adoption School

Hey there User:Howicus, User:Luis Santos24 here,

I was wondering about the sudden pause in your teachings for my adoption school, what happened? I'm always ready to continue whenever you are. Just be sure to let me know on here, or via E-mail. baconater24.ls@gmail.com

Cheers, --The Haze Master (talk) 23:43, 20 March 2016 (UTC)

P.S. Happy belated new year!

Hi The Haze Master. I stopped with teachings for you because you said back in August that my Adoption School hadn't been working out. Also, since then I've gotten out of the adopt-a-user program. The other helpees besides you all went inactive, and I felt like my school wasn't really being that helpful. Plus, I'm busier now and on Wikipedia less predictably. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 00:09, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
User:Howicus,

I was not aware of that. I am willing to continue, i thought i only said it wasn't working for User:Samtar, last year. Any potential mentors you can direct me to?

Cheers, --The Haze Master (talk) 00:42, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

The Haze Master, if you would still like mentoring there are a lot of good editors at the list of adopters, though I don't personally know how they do their adopting. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 22:18, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

Francis Brunn edit

Sorry about the inappropriate edit on the Francis Brunn page. I knew Francis between 1982 thru 1995 when we lost touch. I was also a circus performer but my career was ended by an injury in 1987.

I just wanted to add a little to the fabulous legacy of a truly great artist. Francis wasn't just a Juggler. He was a dancer, acrobat and performer whose energy was extraordinary; he even stole my car once but I wouldn't put that on wikipedia.

As a teacher at the Big Apple Circus school I taught with his sister Lottie who was his first assistant and juggler in her own right. I often grilled Francis about all things circus (he was a walking variety arts encyclopedia) and his technique for getting 10 rings into the air was one of our conversations. I just wanted to clarify that Francis claimed to be the first to juggle 10 rings and explain his innovations.

I used to do the news at WBAI, the Pacifica affiliate in NYC so I understand the need for accuracy and attribution. If I write about Francis on my website, using my name, would that work as a proper reference? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.14.98.125 (talk) 19:38, 25 March 2016 (UTC)

Do you want one Edit tab, or two? It's your choice

How to switch between editing environments
Click the [[ ]] to switch to the wikitext editor.
Click the pencil icon to switch to the visual editor.
The editing interface will be changed soon. When that happens, editors who currently see two editing tabs – "Edit" and "Edit source" – will start seeing one edit tab instead. The single edit tab has been popular at other Wikipedias. When this is deployed here, you may be offered the opportunity to choose your preferred appearance and behavior the next time you click the Edit button. You will also be able to change your settings in the Editing section of Special:Preferences.

You can choose one or two edit tabs. If you chose one edit tab, then you can switch between the two editing environments by clicking the buttons in the toolbar (shown in the screenshots). See Help:VisualEditor/User guide#Switching between the visual and wikitext editors for more information and screenshots.

There is more information about this interface change at mw:VisualEditor/Single edit tab. If you have questions, suggestions, or problems to report, then please leave a note at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback.

Editor of the Week : nominations needed!

The Editor of the Week initiative has been recognizing editors since 2013 for their hard work and dedication. Editing Wikipedia can be disheartening and tedious at times; the weekly Editor of the Week award lets its recipients know that their positive behaviour and collaborative spirit is appreciated. The response from the honorees has been enthusiastic and thankful.

The list of nominees is running short, and so new nominations are needed for consideration. Have you come across someone in your editing circle who deserves a pat on the back for improving article prose regularly, making it easier to understand? Or perhaps someone has stepped in to mediate a contentious dispute, and did an excellent job. Do you know someone who hasn't received many accolades and is deserving of greater renown? Is there an editor who does lots of little tasks well, such as cleaning up citations?

Please help us thank editors who display sustained patterns of excellence, working tirelessly in the background out of the spotlight, by submitting your nomination for Editor of the Week today!

Message from Ashercraft

Do you have any good tutorials to watch on these issues? We have been trying to update this for a few weeks now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashercraft (talkcontribs) 18:15, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello Ashercraft, I don't know of a video tutorial; the best I can point you to is Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. In my opinion, the most important thing to keep in mind when suggesting changes to a page is to have reliable, independent sources to support the change. The second-most important thing is that articles should be written from a neutral point of view; it should be impossible to tell what the writers of the article actually think about Myers. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 18:22, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Submit information

Howicus,

I'm not sure how to edit a page if you are saying we can't because we work with Calev. The information put there that we were editing was there because of people that work with him.

Can you tell him to to submit an updated page for Calev if we aren't allowed to do it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashercraft (talkcontribs) 18:21, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi again Ashercraft. Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline recommends that editors who are connected to the subject of an article should not edit the article directly. Instead, you should go to the talk page of the article, Talk:Calev Myers, and edit that page instead. On the talk page, click "new section", give the changes you want to see, the reasons for those changes, and sources to support the changes. You can add the text {{Request edit}} to the top of the section, and it will notify Wikipedia editors that someone is suggesting edits to the page. It is possible that others who have worked for Calev before have edited the page; they were most likely unaware of the guideline, and no one noticed them because they weren't up front with their connection like you were (thanks for that, by the way). Howicus (Did I mess up?) 18:28, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Stop the fake and dishonest informations

I am tired of reading fake informations about Kosovo in Wikipedia. I thought we as editors did our best to write the truth and honest information, but Serbs editors doesn't obviously! So I did what I did as a rebellion! Stop interfering on Kosovo-Albanian pages with fake informations or I will create an army doing the same wirh the Serb pages. I would recommend us all to write the truth and nothing but the truth and respect each others boundaries! Makolli86 (talk) 00:03, 21 May 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Makolli86 (talkcontribs)

Makolli86, if you're unhappy with information about Kosovo in Wikipedia, the right way to respond is to try and find reliable, independent sources and correct the article using those. It certainly is not right to intentionally disrupt Wikipedia to make a point. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 00:18, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Did you know?

It's quick and easy to insert a references list.

Place the cursor where you want to display the references list (usually at the bottom of the page). Open the "Insert" menu and click the "References list" icon (three books).

If you are using several groups of references, which is relatively rare, you will have the opportunity to specify the group. If you do that, then only the references that belong to the specified group will be displayed in this list of references.

Finally, click "Insert" in the dialog to insert the References list. This list will change as you add more footnotes to the page.

You can read and help translate the user guide, which has more information about how to use the visual editor.

Since the last newsletter, the VisualEditor team has fixed many bugs. Their workboard is available in Phabricator. Their current priorities are improving support for Arabic and Indic scripts, and adapting the visual editor to the needs of the Wikivoyages and Wikisources.

Recent changes

The visual editor is now available to all users at most Wikivoyages. It was also enabled for all contributors at the French Wikinews.

The single edit tab feature combines the "Edit" and "Edit source" tabs into a single "Edit" tab. It has been deployed to several Wikipedias, including Hungarian, Polish, English and Japanese Wikipedias, as well as to all Wikivoyages. At these wikis, you can change your settings for this feature in the "Editing" tab of Special:Preferences. The team is now reviewing the feedback and considering ways to improve the design before rolling it out to more people.

Future changes

The "Save page" button will say "Publish page". This will affect both the visual and wikitext editing systems. More information is available on Meta.

The visual editor will be offered to all editors at the remaining "Phase 6" Wikipedias during the next few months. The developers want to know whether typing in your language feels natural in the visual editor. Please post your comments and the language(s) that you tested at the feedback thread on mediawiki.org. This will affect several languages, including: Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Urdu, Persian, Bengali, Assamese, Aramaic and others.

The team is working with the volunteer developers who power Wikisource to provide the visual editor there, for opt-in testing right now and eventually for all users. (T138966)

The team is working on a modern wikitext editor. It will look like the visual editor, and be able to use the citoid service and other modern tools. This new editing system may become available as a Beta Feature on desktop devices around September 2016. You can read about this project in a general status update on the Wikimedia mailing list.

Hello, Ramydiaa. I'm going to reply generally here rather than commenting on the specific articles. Everything on Wikipedia should be sourced to a reliable source that supports the content. If you want to change what's said in a Wikipedia article, you must provide a source to support the change. You did not provide any sources for any of your changes. Please take a look at this policy for more on why sources are needed, and take a look at this page to learn how to cite sources. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 02:09, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

is that all the problem

First, why did not respond to my questions. As for the sources I make sure I will Teach you after enough time to you Just make sure it's healthy and honest and reliable— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ramydiaa (talkcontribs) 02:24, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

Ramydiaa, I did not answer the questions specifically because one answer serves for all three. Find reliable, independent sources that support the changes you want to make first, and then make the edits, citing those sources. This is the way to do it if you're talking about the outcome of the Ninth Crusade or Israeli casualties at the Battle of Ismailia or the outcome of the Yom Kippur War or anything else. Find the sources first, then make the changes. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 03:19, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

New Page Review needs your help

Hi Howicus,

As an AfC reviewer you're probably aware that a new user right has been created for patrolling new pages (you might even have been granted the right already, and admins have it automatically).

Since July there has been a very serious backlog at Special:NewPagesFeed of over 14,000 pages, by far the worst since 2011, and we need an all out drive to get this back down to just a few hundred that can be easily maintained in the future. Unlike AfC, these pages are already in mainspace, and the thought of what might be there is quite scary. There are also many good faith article creators who need a simple, gentle push to the Tea House or their pages converted to Draft rather than being deleted.

Although New Page Reviewing can occasionally be somewhat more challenging than AfC, the criteria for obtaining the right are roughly the same. The Page Curation tool is even easier to use than the Helper Script, so it's likely that most AfC reviewers already have more than enough knowledge for the task of New Page Review.

It is hoped that AfC reviewers will apply for this right at WP:PERM and lend a hand. You'll need to have read the page at WP:NPR and the new tutorial.

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Howicus. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

The tool I used, HotCat, makes categorization a pretty fast and painless process. I'd recommend checking it out. Happy editing! Howicus (Did I mess up?) 20:09, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
You bet it was a good sentiment! I was just surprised in how short a time someone came along and found so many cats. I'll get my Hotcat installed as well since it is a free tool. Thanks Howicus. Osterrich (talk) 19:25, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

Titanic II

Hello, I just updated the Clive Palmer Titanic II page with a construction update on the replica being built as a static display in Sichuan province. The theme park replica and Clive Palmer's project are often confused because both have a 2018 target date and both are to be built by Chinese shipyards. The Sichuan theme park ship is a 1912 display replica that won't be sailing anywhere. Palmer's was supposed to be a SOLAS 2010 compliant fully functioning ocean liner. Stylistic Analysis and Plastic Paint Medium Technique

Stylistic Analysis

Since his first days as a creator, Josignacio’s human inner connectedness with colors and the free impulse of the subconscious mind to act to use them on his canvasses have been the lighting guide, his life motive and the key of all his creations. Mostly inspired by music, human emotions and the detailed elements the great work of perpetual validity of nature in front of his eyes. The genetic of his executions generally consists of a careful combination of close-up images of the deep-sea flora and fauna, fossil rocks, outer space and subtly organic materials fantasized by colors. Through color he does mostly express himself. Forms are secondary elements in his paintings in spite of sometimes he uses “fusiform forms” either to encapsulate or unwrap them. He is considered fundamentally an “abstract, semi-abstract or neo-figurative” painter. Nevertheless in some occasions, when he got inspired by a social happening, a personal experience, a philosophical thinking or a reflection that requires some figurative elements in order for him to express it, he have never hesitated in using forms that are perfectly recognizable derived from real life more than his own imagination. He gives himself the freedom of doing whatever comes to his mind in his wide technique’s spectrum and that’s the key of his liberation as a creator. He plays with colors like a child plays with colors, in a conscious manner but following his impulses and feelings. He is most interested in the abstract elements of the form than the form itself; the fact of the matter is that in any painted realistic object, countryside or portrait, you need to put together a great number of abstract sectors to achieve them, and those sectors in his perspective are more interesting than the results. Through his own plastic paint technique he have found the perfect medium to express the vast majority of his ideas. Since his youth the abstract expressionists of the New York School have influenced Josignacio; however, Karel Appel and Wassily Kandinsky have had a special focus. He uses the Jackson Pollock’s dripping technique very often also. In his childhood Josignacio had been more motivated by color than by forms, a distinguishing factor in his artwork.

Plastic Paint Medium technique

Plastic Paint Medium is a painting technique created by Artist Josignacio in Havana City, Cuba in 1984; this technique consists of the use of epoxy resins (any of a class of resins derived by polymerization from epoxies: used essentially in adhesives, coatings, and castings) as an "agglutinating medium" and "pigments" as colorants, obtaining as a result of a real plastic finish with a new visual effect. It has said was new because until that moment was almost impossible to obtain such shining, hardens, transparency, and real 3D effects with the conventional known mediums, and no one have had ever used the epoxy painting pigmented to make or finish a whole painting. Epoxy resin was used before 1984 in art as a varnish, to glue stuff on collages or to make some kind of sculptural objects. This is the most versatile medium for painters. Josignacio’s first completed painting with this mixing was a neo figurative depiction of a human face. Plastic Paint Medium it is not water based neither water-soluble, its drying or curing time is approximately six hours, depending on some factors such humidity, temperature or amount of pigment added to mix. Plastic Paint Medium is very resistant to the corrosive effects of weathering and an excellent blocker against the devastating UV's rays.

Hi Xucp! So, I read over what you wrote, and there are a couple things that should be worked on. First off, you'll need to cite your sources, to clearly show where you got your information from, so that readers can verify the content. These sources should be reliable, things like newspapers, magazines, or books, and they should be independent, not directly connected with Josignacio.
Second, I must admit I am not very familiar with the art world, but a lot of your first paragraph doesn't make much sense to me. What do phrases like "Josignacio’s human inner connectedness" or "his liberation as a creator" mean? I think perhaps language like that is too flowery for Wikipedia. Wikipedia articles should have a fairly detached, dry style to to them. Try to stick to the facts of what Josignacio has done and what has been written about him. Wikipedia December 10 2016 conversation

Hello Howicus,

Lol, yes it is true, that’s a language used very often by art critics, I can change it for a more simple statement. "Josignacio’s human inner connectedness" means the artist have a human connectivity with colors or forms. "His liberation as a creator" means freedom, the freedom artists have when they do what they want, without commitments, regardless critic’s opinions or market tendencies. It is almost impossible to talk about Josignacio without mentioning politic. But it is what it is. In his case is very difficult to find sources, those are very scarce, and most of them haven’t been published due to his political asylum status in USA. Is very difficult for a Cuban artist refugee to succeed in the art’s world. Is paradoxical but factual, just to mention a few and appealing to your generous patience: Seems unbelievable but factual, renown Cuban art critic Leonel Lopez Nussa was fired after writing three articles in the Bohemia magazine about Josignacio from March 1987 to April 1988 and books have excluded him like: Art Cuba: The New Generation by Holly Block New Art of Cuba by Luis Camnitzer Cuba Avant-Garde: Contemporary Cuban Art from the Farber Collection by Abelardo Mena and Magda Gonzalez Mora, Cuba: arte contemporáneo contemporary art by by Andreas Winkler (Author), Sebastiaan A.C. Berger (Author) And the most important: Memoria: Artes Visuales Cubanas Del Siglo Xx by José Veigas, in which he excluded "El Salon de la Ciudad 1988", a very important art exhibition, just because Josignacio participated. And these are just a few of many that have being obedient to Castro’s politic of radio silent to his defectors. Who knows why, maybe they had very good relations with Cuban government. But thanks to God, Obama did the unthinkable and reestablished full relations with Cuba December 17 2014 * https://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/18/world/americas/us-cuba-relations.html That event opened up the door to Josignacio after 27 years and many others who suffered too. We called it Josignacio’s reborn. Anyways Howicus, I will try to find all information I possible can in order to help you to help us, him and Cuban contemporary art history. Cuban authorities seems to lift up the ban against Josignacio and this is the solid proof:

Next January he will be exhibiting in Havana his third exhibition in less than a year and The Museumof fine arts of Havana

Huwicus, whoever you are, we are extremely grateful with you for your kindness (almost absent in Wikipedia editors…) and your invaluable time. People like you should be more abundant in this earth. God bless you and thank you very much in the name of all that are looking for hope and justice! Sincerely, XucpXucp (talk) 01:41, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Glad to hear I was able to help, Xucp. Feel free to ask if you have more questions. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 02:18, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Hello Howicus,

What do you think now??? This is better or good to post on Josignacio's wall? lol, this is very far from easy.

Stylistic Analysis

Josignacio is best known for his abstractions [1], since his firsts days as a creator, colors most than forms and his connectivity with them, the free impulse of the subconscious mind to apply them on his canvasses, have been the lighting guide, his life motive, a constant key of all his creations.

Mostly inspired by music, strong human emotions[2] and the detailed elements of the nature in front of his eyes.

The genetic or DNA of his executions generally consists of a careful combination of close-up images of the deep-sea flora and fauna [3], fossil[4] rocks, outer space and subtly organic materials fantasized by colors.

Through color he does mostly express himself. Forms are secondary elements in his paintings in spite of sometimes he uses “fusiform forms” either to encapsulate or unwrap them.

Regardless he is considered fundamentally an “abstract, semi-abstract or neo-figurative” painter, his playing with realistic forms inserted in his abstractions is something very often seen, especially in his “Dualism [5] Series” which consist in just that; two elements depicting one motive or theme in the same painting. Example of that series are “El Siete” (The Seven), in which is very clear a number seven on top of a green-orange background close to a very abstract number seven in permanent green and blacks and the “3 o’clock” which depicted an abstract clock in a monochromatic[6] use of greens contrasting with a figurative and rigid clock hands in deep red.

Nevertheless in some occasions, when he got inspired by a social happening, a personal experience, a philosophical thinking or a reflection that requires only figurative elements in order for him to express it, he have never hesitated in using forms that are perfectly recognizable derived from real life more than his own imagination.

He gives himself the freedom of doing whatever comes to his mind in his wide technique’s creative spectrum and that’s the key of his freedom as a creator.

He plays with colors like a child plays with colors, in a conscious manner but following his impulses and feelings. He is most interested in the abstract elements of the form than the form itself; the fact of the matter is that in any painted realistic object, countryside or portrait, you need to put together a great number of abstract sectors to achieve them, and those sectors in his perspective, are more interesting than the results.

Through his own plastic paint technique he have found the perfect medium to express the vast majority of his ideas.

Since his youth the abstract expressionists of the New York School like Willem de Kooning, James Brooks, Robert Motherwell, have influenced Josignacio, however, Karel Appel and the use of the whole canvas to put just one or two figures in it with just few brush strokes of warm colors mixed with cool colors and black and Wassily Kandinsky circle series and a specific painting titled “Improvisation. Deluge” dated 1913, has had a special focus. He uses very often also Jackson Pollock’s dripping technique but in a very controlled way. All these elements combined with his own technique’s characteristics are the responsible in defining Josignacio’s art.

All these abstract painters have had influenced me more than my Cuban compatriots, because the abstractionism in my country is more based on Picasso’s cubism than their energetic and expressive brushstrokes gesturalism. He said.

Composition and color balance comes naturally. The use of one of primary colors[7] such as red and his complementary green are almost a constant fight in which the color black acts as a mediator between them.

Plastic Paint Medium technique

Plastic Paint Medium is a name given to the use of epoxy resin[8] (any of a class of resins derived by polymerization[9] from epoxies: used essentially in adhesives[10], coatings, and castings) as an "agglutinating medium" mixed with "pigments"[11] as colorants. Artist Josignacio in Havana City, Cuba created this painting technique in 1984. Epoxy resin was used before 1984 in art as a varnish, to glue stuff on collages or to make some kind of sculptural objects. This artistic medium is a revolution in the painting technique’s field. The pigmented epoxy resin painting results in a real plastic finish with a new visual effect. It has said was new because until that moment was almost impossible to obtain such shining, hardens, transparency, and real 3D effects with the conventional known mediums, and no one have had ever used the epoxy painting pigmented to make or finish a whole painting. This is one of the most versatile mediums for painters ever. Josignacio’s first completed painting with this mixing was a neo figurative depiction of a human face. Plastic Paint Medium or pigmented epoxy resin is not water based neither water-soluble, its drying or curing time is approximately six hours, depending on some factors such humidity, temperature or amount of pigment added to mix. The way of mixing the two liquids is in identical parts, then steering until is completely mixed the resin with the hardener and then it is added the desired color in a form of dry pigment or oil painting. Then it is applied to the support, either canvas or wood in a horizontal position until it dries. This technique is also very resistant to the corrosive effects of weathering and an excellent blocker against the devastating UV's rays [12]. German artist and art theorist Max Doerner[13] predicted the use of synthetic resins[14] in art, in his book “The Materials of the Artist and Their Use in Painting” ISBN-13: 978-0156577168 ISBN-10: 015657716X first published in 1921.

Thank you Very much for your patience, I really appreciate it !

Hi again @Xucp:. The references you use need to be the places you got the article content from, not other Wikipedia articles. Where exactly are you getting the material on his style? Some of it's from http://www.radiorebelde.cu/noticia/plastic-paint-medium-una-revolucion-tecno-pictorica-creada-cuba-20161207/, right? What about the rest? Your references need to make the sources of the information perfectly clear. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 02:00, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Good Morning Howicus,

Except for the references, the sources of the information I have to provide, is the writing ok? Thank you very much. XucpXucp (talk) 14:29, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Well, first off, @Xucp:, the sources are the most important part; no content will be accepted without them. There are a few phrases in what you wrote that stand out to me, which would be read as overly promotional if you tried to add them to the article. Phrases like "This artistic medium is a revolution in the painting technique’s field." or "This is one of the most versatile mediums for painters ever." don't belong on Wikipedia; they're praising the technique too much, and therefore violate the neutral point of view policy. Even if one of your sources calls the medium a revolution, you should only write "this source calls the technique a revolution" and then cite the source. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 01:26, 13 December 2016 (UTC)

Ok, understood. I will fixe it and find the sources then I will get back to you Howicus. Thank you very much for your priceless help, I really appreciate it. XucpXucp (talk) 02:10, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
