You do not get to unilaterally decide something does not belong in the article. At least two editors (myself and whoever added it originally) disagree with you. Go to the article talk page and start a discussion on how to handle this. You do this by making dispassionate argument based on reliable sources and Wikipedia policies and guidelines. See WP:BRD. American politics discretionary sanctions
