Reverting without discussion edit

I suggest you move to discussion on the talkpage here pease explain any problems you have there, thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 16:51, 5 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

3RR note edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Joshua Pellicer. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Off2riorob (talk · contribs) 13:45, May 5, 2010

No problem. What's the appropriate next step? I've noticed that the same anonymous IP has, once again, reverted the edits.HateToLoveMe (talk) 23:06, 5 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Cool, move to discussion about your issues on the talkpage of the article. Off2riorob (talk) 23:16, 5 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Done! The discussion has been moved there, and I have justified reasons for my edits there as well, however I have not made those edits again, as I assume this would be a violation of the above rule. When you have a chance, do let me know how I should proceed. Cheers.HateToLoveMe (talk) 00:01, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I thought I was clear. At the talk page, say what your problem is and wait (a day or three) for other editors to reply. Off2riorob (talk) 00:09, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wasn't so clear before but it is now. Like I said, I'm relatively new here so I appreciate your help, as well as your patience.HateToLoveMe (talk) 03:49, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

May 2010 edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. CobaltBlueTony™ talk 19:09, 5 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks guys. I'm relatively new to wikipedia editing, and don't know all the protocols just yet, even though I've read much in the FAQs, etc. I appreciate the feedback and notes.HateToLoveMe (talk) 23:04, 5 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
