Hi harsh I am new to wikipedia and no matter how hard I try I cant make sense of it =(( ... anyways I just wanted to request some information in an article you edited, the article is on Mr Arvind Kejriwal, and I would really appreciate it if you could add a link to his actual twitter and facebook page, as of late there has been a lot of misinformation being spread through his fake accounts

Hello Harishrawat11,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Daya Shankar IRS for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Danrok (talk) 14:53, 27 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Daya Shankar (IRS officer) edit

The article Daya Shankar (IRS officer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article is about a person who is not notable in Wikipedia's sense

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Salvio Let's talk about it! 15:40, 29 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for October 20 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Investigation Division of the Central Board of Direct Taxes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Member (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sagar Alias Jacky edit

This page has been nominated for deletion because there isn't any sign of notability. For articles to be accepted, especially for characters, the content must be properly sourced by reliable third-party sources (not self-references such as Wikipedia). Considering the character has only been featured in two films, this suggests the character is not notable and probably hasn't received any fame aside from those two films. Additionally, any information about the character would be available at each of the articles for the films. SwisterTwister talk 20:43, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Removing AfD template edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Sibichen K Mathew. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. Snotbot  t • c »  21:57, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

November 2012 edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! This is especially the case when you are nominating an article for deletion. Thanks! KTC (talk) 10:00, 2 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • When nominating an article for deletion, please also ensure you transclude the discussion page onto that day articles for deletion log as per step 3 of WP:AFDHOWTO. This way, other editors will be able to see an article have been nominated for deletion and possibly give their comments. Thanks! KTC (talk) 10:10, 2 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

In response to your feedback edit

Some editors have forgotten what it is to be a new editor here. But not all editors are as "not warm" as the others, and we shall try to help you in anyway possible. For starters, you can go to the Teahouse - they are quite helpful to understand wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Teahouse

But you also got to see if what the other editors are saying is correct. Most of the times, they do have a point. Its usually helpful to go through the Article for Creation before you create a new article. That way, its easier to verify if the article meets the quality standards here.

Merge of "List of converts to Islam from Hinduism" edit

Hi, you posted a 'merge' template on the "List of converts to Islam from Hinduism" article about two weeks ago. May I ask what page you wanted to merge this one with? It usually should be included as part of the full merge template. I'll add it in if you want, as long as you can point out to me the redundant article(s). Thanks.--ɱ 21:45, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

Vehicle beacon lights in India edit

The edits you reverted at this article were not frequent and blatant vandalism so it would be pointless to protect the article. Warning the user should suffice but if not, request page protection at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection for the future. SwisterTwister talk 04:34, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Again, the edits are not blatant vandalism or frequent enough to require protection (it has been a week since it was last edited, December 12). Please visit Wikipedia:Vandalism to learn what is and what is not vandalism. As I mentioned above, please go to Wikipedia:Requests for page protection for any future and real vandalism. Cheers! The article Investigation Division of the Central Board of Direct Taxes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only one independent source is not enough. Not every division of every part of every government needs a separate Wikipedia page. Any relevant info should be covered on the CBDT article (since most of this is not of encyclopedic value).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Request reason:

sir, i mean that i know why i am blocked but do not see the reason behind it.i am only one user and i am not a sock puppet of anyone.blamecivil who was blocked may have some striking similarities, but it is because we might share the same interests.regarding the dci page which he created it may or may not have copyright material but i created that page as i created a parent article for that page,so i made 2 other articles to fill the parent page the Investigation Division of the Central Board of Direct Taxes.i again truly state that i am not a sockpuppet and i will never be.my humble opinion if i am blamecivils sockpuppet just because on the basis of similarities of edits, then vence1234 nirmal95 and other editors who edit my interest pages are sockpuppets? Harishrawat11 (talk) 14:49, 17 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
I am not anyones sockpuppet and will never will be.Please use checkuser to verify my claim Harishrawat11 (talk) 11:35, 24 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Just denying you're a sock puppet is insufficient. A check user is not warranted just because you request it. An account may be blocked as a sock puppet without technical evidence. In any event, a CU would be stale as Blamecivil95 was blocked over six months ago. Finally, a quick look at your edits confirms the block was justified. Request reason:

sir, blamecivil might have similarities in editing with me but seeing all my edits on the whole it is completely different, blamecivils edits are mostly on the pages vrghs jacob and his other socks have gone through.my edits i believe are more constructive focused and of a another nature.my edits i agree are similar but a careful look will show they are different.hence i appeal to the wikipedia editors to unblock me Harishrawat11 (talk) 12:02, 27 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

It's pretty clear that you're the same. First of all, you have 14 articles in common that you edited, claiming that you edited in different areas is futile. Secondly, your very first edit on this account looks like an edit from someone who has edited before (asking someone on a talk page how to "make your article good"). Finally, the odd way that you do your signature, and the way Blamecivil95 wrote his signature are identical. There are more indicators to show similarity but an admin can't give away all of his tricks. :) -- Atama 22:23, 28 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Central edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Central requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.mediander.com/connects/37757286/chief-commissioner-of-income-tax/#!/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
