Milan Kundera edit

Hello Halibutron. You have to edit the notes right in the text of the article, "reflist" is just automatic arrangement of the notes, and you cannot edit it. I've replaced the dead link and the accessdate, look: [1] I hope, it's more clear now. Btw, thanks for your useful notice. Have a nice day! --Vejvančický (talk) 10:23, 10 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, one more note. When you post comments on talk pages, the new comments go at the bottom of the page. Welcome! ChildofMidnight (talk) 17:07, 10 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
The work with footnotes on wikipedia is explained here. It´s not difficult :)) Vejvančický (talk) 07:39, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your help on the Milan Kundera page, Vejvančický. I appreciate your helping out less-experienced contributors such as myself, and with more patience and understanding than I see many contributors using. Halibutron (talk) 05:23, 6 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Vejvančický edit

A tag has been placed on Vejvančický, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please Note; if you want to contact another user, do not create an article. Post a message on his talk page. Also, never re-create an article that an administrator has deleted unless you are going to substantially change the content, and the article must follow all of Wikipedia's policies. Posting messages on user’s talk pages edit

TheXenocide said “Please Note; if you want to contact another user, do not create an article. Post a message on his talk page.” That‘s what I thought I was doing. When I clicked the “To respond…” link, I saw that my login had somehow been lost, and that I was identified only by IP address. So, I pasted the secure part of the URL in front of the bit identifying the user; evidently without the desired effect. I have all cookies enabled etc. in a pretty vanilla browser (Safari 3.2), and it has happened before that I've been logged in for less than 5 minutes, and somehow the site “forgets” I’m logged in and gives my contributions a generic (ie. by IP address only) attribution.

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. If you could explain this to me a little more clearly, I would be glad to help you out. Also, you can still post messages on people's talk pages even if you're not logged in. TheXenocide (talk) 05:40, 6 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
