Signing comments on talk pages edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as in Talk:Confucius, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Lightsup55 ( T | C ) 06:22, 14 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

MediaWiki features (page protection, rollback feature, FlaggedRevs) edit

You can request for page protection at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection (or WP:RfPP for short) and an administrator will protect it (if a valid reason is given to do so). Of course, there are many other features of the MediaWiki software you might not even know about. For example, have you read about the Wikipedia:Rollback feature or requested for rollback rights? Have you heard of FlaggedRevs (a feature that is only in use by the German Wikipedia at this time)? You might also want to check out Wikimedia Quality. --Lightsup55 ( T | C ) 06:55, 14 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ancient Egyptian Vocalization Project edit

Hello, I really like your Ancient Egyptian Vocalization Project as I would like to pronounce the hieroglyphs I read in the best possible manner. However, as for all other sources I have found about correct vocalization, there is no audio file. I think this is a big drawback for a vocalization project. Do you know of any place where I can also correctly vocalized sentences ? Iry-Hor (talk) 08:16, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
