Administrator intervention against vandalism report

Thank you for your report on 208.71.184.41 at Administrator intervention against vandalism. You are quite right in that this IP address has been repeatedly used for vandalism. However, since many IP addresses may be used by many different users, we do not normally block IP addresses unless the vandalism is still actively taking place, whereas in this case the last edits were two days ago. Please don't let this put you off from making vandalism reports in the future, but I though it would help to explain why no action was being taken on this one. Rephrase that?

Might I convince you to rephrase this a little? Hans Adler was perhaps a bit sarcastic and frustrated in making his point, but there should be no need to take the discussion to a personal level. Better solutions might include: ignore it (my personal favorite); politely request that discussion focus on concrete suggestions for improvement, per the Talk page guidelines; or make a request at User talk:Hans Adler similar to this posting of mine. He is all around generally reasonable, and I believe that he genuinely wants Homeopathy to portray an accurate and encyclopedic overview of the topic.
