Samurai Champloo edit

Hey, what's up? I just wanted to let you know I removed some of the links you added to the Samurai Champloo article because of overlinking: "A link for any single term is excessively repeated in the same article, as in the example of overlinking which follows: "Excessive" is more than once for the same term, in a line or a paragraph, because in this case one or more duplicate links will almost certainly then appear needlessly on the viewer's screen. Remember, the purpose of links is to direct the reader to a new spot at the point(s) where the reader is most likely to take a temporary detour due to needing more information."

I think a lot of them on the character page were helpful and left all of those, but on the main page there are already links to the episode pages in both the "Plot" and "Setting and Style" section. It's just that too many blue links can distract from readability. For instance, you had linked to Cowboy Bebop two sentences in a row in the "Distribution and Reception" section.

Anyway, just wanted to give you the reason for why I made the change. But I think in general you added a lot of convenience to both Bebop and Champloo. SpiderMMB 17:09, 26 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lists of episodes edit

I'm not sure how many lists of episodes you have seen yet on Wikipedia, but most of them are in this format. The template means easier maintenance later, makes reformatting easier, and standardizes formatting with other LOEs. Also, the template table does allow direct linking to episodes by using "ep#", for example List of Cowboy Bebop episodes#ep13. Most LOEs on animes also include the Japanese titles as well. -- Ned Scott 22:51, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

When using Undo edit

Hi Gholam. I was looking at your reversions via Undo, and I just want to let you know that using the undo function only reverts one edit made by a user, and not all of them. To revert multiple edits made by the same person, you'll have to do it the old-school way. See Help:Reverting. Thanks. --AAA! (AAAA) 13:17, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the comment, and you're welcome. However, I've moved your comment to my talk page, as comments like that are better off there. Again, you're welcome. --AAA! (AAAA) 13:45, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Warnings edit

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made, you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. LittleOldMe 14:38, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

North Dundas District High School edit

It isn't clear where this school is. The link to Chesterville leads to a disambiguation page and the link to Winchester leads to a town in England. Where is this school? Can you expand the page a bit and then also put it into an appropriate category? Thanks a lot! 172.167.20.41 21:01, 10 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Looking for Group edit

A tag has been placed on Looking for Group requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. — dαlus Contribs 09:57, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
