October 2014 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Yunshui  11:54, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

My reason to unblock edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

To stop disruptive editing

Decline reason:

Yes, this block has succeeded in stopping your disruptive editing. When you arrived at this private website, you AGREED to the rules. Blocks should NEVER be required, but the first block was intended to PREVENT repeat behaviour. In 99% of cases, a second block is never required. However, it was in this case, which has led now to a third and final block. We're already convinced that you've done a bad thing, so thanks for that. You clearly do not hold the required maturity to edit an encyclopedia. I will extend what we call the Standard Offer. You must not edit Wikipedia, period for a minimum of 6 months. You must not try and create a new account. You must not edit while logged out - no editing PERIOD. It's also recommended during that 6 month period that you try and do some positive work elsewhere on a Wikipedia project. No sooner than 6 months from today, you may return and request unblock. If you violate the "no editing" rule above, not only does the clock restart to 6 months, it will be extended. Perhaps by that time you will have attained a degree of maturity that will, indeed, allow you to contribute to this project the panda ₯’ 13:13, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Here's my reason: I'm appealing this because I've been blocked three times because I've been editing disruptively. I want to convince them that I done a bad thing. Please respond to my appeal. Fireball24fire (talk) 12:22, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm declining your request to be unblocked, because I consider your unblock request to be unconvincing. PhilKnight (talk) 14:57, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Here's another reason: I want to say I'm sorry for blocking me for a long time and I have a favor to ask. This is my reason because I want to stop editing with disruptions.

I think we're already convinced that you 'done a bad thing'. What we aren't convinced of is that you really understand why it is a bad thing, and that you won't do it again (and again...) Peridon (talk) 14:19, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
They wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt before, but you kept uploading new copyrighted images without an explanation. That's against the rules on Wikipedia. Tezero (talk) 14:38, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
You have at least twice now, promised not to do this anymore, and yet you've done it yet again. No one believe your empty promises. This is what happens when you repeatedly (and immediately) return to the activities that get you blocked earlier. I was only going to block you for a few months, but honestly, DangerousPanda makes a pretty good case. You've proven that there's really no reason to believe you'll stop doing this in the short term.Sergecross73 msg me 14:44, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

To apologize that I've edited with disruptions

Decline reason:

I really, really, like unblocking editors who have made a bad start, been blocked, and then make it clear that they understand why they have been blocked, and will not do it again. I do, honestly. I think it is far better for an editor to come back and edit constructively than for them to be kept out, so they can't contribute. However, you have not made it clear that you understand why you have been blocked, and will not do it again. You keep making unblock requests that basically just say "what I did was bad, and I won't do it again", but you have never shown what you think was bad about your editing, and you have never said how your editing from now on will be different from what you did before. If you can do those two things, you may be unblocked. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 19:36, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Wait! I have to say that I've been blocked for the third time and you gave me an infinite block because of this and with that, I'm saying I'm sorry. I want to edit but you kept on reverting and with that, here is my reason: To stop editing after all of the things I've done!

Sorry, but you can't be trusted. You have made no attempt to fix your behavior following previous blocks. There is little reason to believe you're competent enough to edit Wikipedia. Try again in six months, as Dangerous Panda suggests. You can use that time to read up on Wikipedia policy and learn what is and isn't appropriate. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 16:06, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your apology is noted and accepted. But its not a valid reason to be unblocked. There is no way an admin is going to unblock you with a request like that. If you put up a fourth unblock request after this one is denied, you will lose your talk page access, which will complicate even trying to come back in 6 months. Please stop this. Sergecross73 msg me 16:10, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

While diary entries are not really the intended use of a talk page, but I see no harm, and won't keep you from doing it. However, you are not allowed to remove active block notices, or unblock requests, while you are blocked. Please stop that. Sergecross73 msg me 20:25, 19 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
I recommend you stop editing this talk page altogether. Continue messing with it and you will likely have talk page access removed, and your chances of being unblocked in six months will diminish if not disappear completely. Stop removing your block notice and your declined unblock requests. This is a very simple instruction. I'm sorry, but if you can't follow it, then you have absolutely no business editing Wikipedia whatsoever. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 21:25, 19 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Talk page access removed. You were told multiple times not to remove block/unblock information, yet you still did. If you can't follow simple instructions, it appears you're not ready for Wikipedia yet. Sergecross73 msg me 23:27, 19 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

October 2014: My diary edit

Dear Diary, It has been a busy month for me wasn't it? First the block, then the talk page removal, now an infinite block? That is crazy I tell you! I know that if I put one more unblock request, I'll lose everything so to avoid this, I'm making a diary! Fireball24fire (talk) 19:46, 17 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:American Ninja Warrior.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:American Ninja Warrior.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:35, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Mr. S (SMAP Album).jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Mr. S (SMAP Album).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. ƏXPLICIT 12:43, 7 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
