Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Britta Sjogren

Wikipedia and copyright

Hello EthanWinters1! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

• You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Hi, @DanCherek I apologize for the inconvenience but I really wish you wouldn't make such hasty edits to the formatting of the page's draft. The plot section was a placeholder and I was working on developing it into a more copyright friendly version of a synopsis. I work for the holder of this copyrighted text and actually wrote it myself for her website years back. I understand that it is your job to look out for these instances but I am not even close to submitting it for creation and recoding the source for everything takes time. As an academic, I would appreciate a message before I receive such a serious accusation. -- EthanWinters1 (talk) 17:31, 2 May 2022 (UTC)

Copyright text can't be added to Wikipedia, even in draftspace. Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials contains the relevant instructions for copyright holders who wish to release material under a compatible license. Sorry for the "serious accusation", but this is the third time that issues of copyright have been raised on your talk page, and there was no acknowledgment of the other two. I apologize again, I will not approach it this way again. I assumed the draftspace was just that, a space to draft and create an article that complies with the rules of Wikipedia and is informational to the user.
