Hello, Easton. Please remember to sign all your comments on talkpages with 4 tildes (~~~~). I anticipate all the fantastic contributions I am sure you will make. Hopefully they won't get marked as vandalism or deletion. By the way, don't make jokes if they appear to be a personal attack. They tend to be a little buearocratic with policy here. I don't really know what you want to get involved in. I guess the Philosophy Portal is somewhere you could start. Well, here's the generic welcome:

Welcome!

William Scott Beacom

edit

The article William Scott Beacom has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 04:35, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Good to see you've got your own account... remember to use it for the good of society. Although that might conflict with your philosophy... Carmabelle7912 (talk) 05:01, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

(I'm not supposed to use this for conversation, technically): but basically, the King of Spain was in Venezuela, and Chavez called a former PM a fascist, which obviously is quite bad in Spain, what with that civil war, so the King said (in spanish) 'Why don't you just shut up?'. Now it's a popular ringtone in Spain. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Carmabelle7912 (talkcontribs) 16:14, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bruce Hendricks

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Bruce Hendricks, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Bruce Hendricks. Leanne Adams

edit

I have marked Leanne Adams for Speedy Deletion with {{db-bio}}. Its blatantly insignificant and does not require WP:Afd debate. Billscottbob 17:46, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

You recently placed a {{tfd}} template on this page. Please note that {{tfd}} is for use on Templates only, and it has been removed. If you want to suggest the page be deleted, please use {{subst:afd}} ot {{subst:prod|reason}}. Stifle (talk) 17:57, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Vancouver Canucks, you will be blocked from editing.

New deal for page patrollers

edit

Hi Eastonlee,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
